New York Post ^ | October 14, 2010 | Andrea Peyser

Miley, the lavishly tattooed star of the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana," a gal emulated by tween girls and their pint-sized sisters, has gone to the dark side of bad taste, pointing her manicured middle finger at young fans.

I saw this trainwreck coming a mile away back when her parents let her take her shirt off for a magazine picture. Did you know her little sister was apparently modeling lingerie at 9?

Great parenting there. NOT.

Joining the ranks of Brittney, Lindsey and Paris. And we’re surprised?

Well parents keep falling for it!

These Disney starlets are fakes. They play the innocent girl thing to reel in millions of your dollars, and when the show is about to go under because they are too “old” for the mouse network, they start losing the clothes and picking up on the bad habits that sunk Lohan, Spears, and the others.

If she has a career in 2 years(because let’s face it, is she really that good of a singer outside of bubblegum pop?), it will mainly consist of nothing more than her going to clubs without underwear, and getting caught with meth and crack in her purse.

Now who’s the next one to go through the machine? Mickey needs some more “dollah bills”.

A well trodden path. Works for some, not for others.

Rocky territory ahead for Miss Cyrus. A continuing career as a superstar, or Celebrity Weight-Loss Dance Off in the year 2018.

Read “Disney: The Mouse Betrayed”

It won’t suprise you obviously, but those who think Disney is all family friendly will have a stroke.

Mickey needs some more “dollah bills”.

Saw a rap talking Mickey Mouse doll that encourages girls to shake it saying "you got it" "uh huh" I think "go girl". Don't recall if he also commanded his "fan" to "work it".

She seems intent on winning the race to sluthood, with one mitigating factor. Dolly Parton, who seems to be as level-headed and common-sensical as they come, believes in this girl 100%. We can all get fooled, but there could be a public and a private persona here that are quite different.

The more I see this tramp descend into Hollywood hell, the more thankful I am my 8 year old can’t stand her. This kid care barely carry a tune, yet she is raking in millions. She will never make it in adult music because she sounds and looks awful on stage. < petty - girly comment> Her mouth is so ugly I hate to watch her sing or talk. </petty >

A continuing career as a superstar

Superstar? You got to be kidding. You can go to any local pub or bar and see rock groups that have singers with FAR more talent than this girl. It's really pathetic that she's as famous as she is. One thing that drives me crazy is to watch someone achieve fame (& fortune) without any real talent. Madonna did this better than just about anyone. But she did have one talent and that was to become famous without any talent. That's a talent I guess.

WoW, people at least let her do something wrong before running her into the ground. I have seen the videos and yes they are racey but that is not my place to decide how someone raises their child.

My kids don’t get their veiws from videos and t.v. they get it from life. Maybe if more people would worry less about other peoples kids and more about your own, we would have less messed up kids in the world.

Just reading the inside cover is exactly what I figured happend. They sold out to the Hollywood machine!

My wife and I were discussing last night how rapidly Disney fell from the brilliant family-oriented company as recently as the early 90s to this bilge that we see today.

Looking at videos of the “old” Disney channel on YouTube that we grew up on in the 80s was so sad. Wonderful classic movies and shows that you could never think twice about letting kids watch. None of it remains.

Now it’s bad acting, terrible programming, and teens girls heading right into the skank machine.
