You nailed it. The most vocal “libertarians” on the net these days (incl here at FR) are concerned about one issue and one issue only... and they’ll go on ad nauseum about it... until their munchies call them away.
One particular libertarian argued that in the Bible, God tells man that every green plant is for his use. I argued that, although something is permissible, that doesn't make it beneficial. He kept going on about "every green plant" ad nauseum.
Finally, I offered to prepare a tasty meal for him. I asked where we could meet so I could watch him enjoy a tasty Poison ivy salad and a nice hot cup of Hemlock tea.
