"The so-called mainstream media has gotten into the act in an effort to suppress Republican voter turnout. Having a great deal invested in the Obama façade they created, the media is once again in full protect mode trying to help Democrats avoid an out-and-out slaughter on Nov. 2."

Nothing quite like a little bit of applied attitude adjustment.

Thank you Jim.

Thank you Sarah.

Thank you Rush.

Sen. McConnell responded. “While we were unable to block the Democrats from passing the health spending bill—the single worst piece of legislation that’s passed since I’ve been in the Senate—the Republican leadership in the House and Senate is committed to its repeal. While Democrats will filibuster our efforts, and if we’re successful the President will veto, I believe we should give them that opportunity. We should vote, again, for repeal,” McConnell told HUMAN EVENTS. “Americans have spoken out, loud and clear, and we heard them. Repeal is part of the Pledge to America, and the Republican leadership is united in that effort.”

Ping to see what the (presumed) Republican majority does on their first day.

Well, I need more than this. Repeal is just about impossible to pull off, so this might be just the kind of empty gesture that Mitch McC is famous for. Instead, I DEMAND a promise not to fund a single aspect of Obamacare. That is doable.

“That is, until we get on the beltway golf courses and cocktail parties and elbow each other on ‘How about those flyover rubes wanting us to repeal Obamacare,eh?—hahaha’”

DeMint to head Senate and Bachman to head House...or maybe House to head House...couldn't be worse?

Now you are talking Mitch. Just keep bringing a bill to repeal to Obozo’s desk. Over and over and over. Make him go on the record vetoing it over and over.

Do this with everything.

Until I see a tangible effort, I consider this lip service.

A law as far reaching as HCR increases the power of politicians. The thing politicians desire above all else is power. I’d venture to guess MOST of the political class wants to see HCR survive, that’s both parties.

We’ll have to watch to see if what they do matches what they say.

Stick with it, Mitch. You now KNOW what will happen if you violate the trust of the Americans who put you in power.

The GOP must send the Repeal of ObamaCare Bill to the Imam every day. Tell We The People that the Repeal is being sent to the Imam every day and tell them in National TV ads. In the national TV and radio ads detail how this bill is a genocide of the elderly, disabled, unborn and whomever else the Imam’s Regime chooses to eliminate.

Exposure is what Liberal Socialists fear the most. Explain and highlight in detail the intent of this bill which is the destruction of our way of life. Death Panels will be deciding your fate; whether you will be allowed to live or die at the dictate of Big Brother.

I guess its possible McConnell woke the hell up as to what the GOP base is demanding...but I simply don’t trust him to be Senate Majority Leader if we take the Senate back in 12 days.

to me, he represents the country club GOP wing, and his political ineptness throughout this election cycle supports this view in my opinion.

We’ll see what he does. Hope he doesn’t think we won’t fire the GOP in 2012 if they try the Democrat Lite/Moderate crap thats failed every time its tried.

McConnel is not telling the complete truth, I believe it takes two votes from the minority to get a bill out of committee for a floor vote, and republicans could have required to have the complete bill read into the record and McConnel said no!

I do not trust McConnel.

Give us DeMint!

Repeal will not be possible until after 2012. We will not have the votes this election cylce unless we peel off a good number of democrats who voted for it - something I’d consider highly unlikely.

Defund 2010. Repeal 2012.

The liberal media weren’t the only ones reporting it. Sources close to the establishment were telling people like Rush the GOP’s motives were suspect. Palin and DeMint (a sitting Senator) have been out there issuing warnings.

We’ll see McConnell. Just remember third party IS on the table.

Conservatives need to unite and make a pledge to throw out any Republican in 2012 that “crosses the aisle” and make deals with the RAT party on any of these major SOCIALISM programs like Obamacare, Cap and Tax, TARP, Porkulus, tax increases (Bush expiration and VAT) and equally important any nomination to the Courts.

This is why the TP movement is even more important AFTER the election. The Dems are deaf to our plight and the Republicans are very hard of hearing. Well,we will get the megaphone out and scream into their ears until their bodies shake.
