The Barack Hussein Obama Bailout Tour 2010. I’ve got to get the T-shirt.

He's longing for the "good old days", back when he had 54% of the voters convinced that he had a brain.

Anybody know where to find out who is paying for “gullible’s” travels?

It is very alarming to me that this a**clown continues to draw such massive crowds wherever he goes. I cannot think of one other president in my lifetime who could command such allegiance in a midterm election.

Do any of the astute analysts on FR have some insights into this phenomenon? And to what it could mean to Nov2 turnout?

That old black magic has me in its spell, that old black magic that you weave so well.
Those icy fingers up and down my spine
That same old witchcraft when your eyes meet mine.
The same old tingle that I feel inside...

I think this campaign is hurting him more than reminding people of the old “magic.” He’s out there bitching and whining and blaming, not “inspiring” anyone.

He’s the Downer-in-Chief.

.... the president is also retracing his steps in hopes of finding something he has lost: the adoration of the American people.

Empty suit, 'zero' .... take your pick ..... Obama has been exposed as a fraud - the adoration isn't coming back. It is really disturbing that the President of the US has to have 'adoration' ..... he'd be better off looking for 'respect' (he's lost that, too), but that appears to be a nonstarter when it's all about Barack and not about the country.

How pathetic and unpresidential — reminding people of all the fun he had at the inaugural balls. As if that matters one whit to the health of the nation. And then complaining about the difficulties of governance and how mean people are. Is he suggesting that if the Dems get re-elected he’ll throw some more big bashes to make people feel good again?

His nonstop whining is disgusting and tiresome.

If there was ever something perfectly fitting the punchline “Help, I’ve fallen and can’t get up”, it’s Obama’s popularity now. And deservedly so.

Tired cliches and vague empty rhetoric won’t save you and more, Bammy. Your 2-year frat-boy party is about to end.

IN LAS VEGAS Barack Obama remembers how good it used to be to be Barack Obama. He only wishes everyone else would remember, too.

That's about as far as I got. The writing about the clown is becoming pathetic. He is so obviously a failure even the dolts at the WaPo recognize it.

I don’t recall any president doing this much campaigning in a midterm election before. He forgets he is the President of all Americans, Republicans included.

And now it just seems like we're working all the time and folks are arguing and everybody is mad. All these pundits are on TV.

Ah, projection. Nicely done, Mr. President. You really are a tool.

Comments on this article at the WaPo skew heavily and angrily against Obama. Some are very creative:

IntruderintheDust wrote:

I was hanging this morning out down in Yoknapatawpha County with Chick Mallison, Lucas Beauchamp, and Bill Faulkner, when we came across wdsouplane’s comment.

I should first advise y’all that we’d been hitting the Jim Beam pretty good before and after reading the WaPo online. And Lucas, actually, was asleep on a nearby couch.

Chick....well, you know how imaginative that dude can be. He figured wdsoulplane must’ve landed from some planet, a place like in Kurt Vonnegut’s “Slaughterhouse Five”, and gotten confused about the present and the past.

“Why else,” began Chick, hiccoughing, “would such a moron not be aware of what a destructive dweeb Barry O has become?”

Chick and I both looked over at Bill, who’s a lot smarter than the both of us.

“Well,” we asked Bill simultaneously. “What do you think?”

Bill was chomping on his ice cubes. “Huh?” is all he replied.

Then Lucas broke wind, and his inner turbulence woke him up.

“You three can just shut up,” he said, settling back on the couch, “and chat about idiots some other place and time.”

So we did.

I wish NBC would offer Obambi his own game show to host, and a country club membership, and then he could just quit the presidency, realize his highest potential, and enjoy life—and leave us alone!

I imagine that Air Force Zero costs a fortune for every hour in use. Then there's all Obama's hotels, food, land transportation, security, etal.

I hope the DemonRat National Committee is picking up the tab so that it bankrupts it.

But why do I have this nagging feeling that you and I are paying for his partisan peregrinations around the country?

How do we find out?
