I checked the internals and compared them to 2008 and PPP gave the Democrats a +7% advantage over 2008. That is the only reason Manchin is leading. PPP had been getting better as a pollster till they signed up to poll for Daily Kos. The last few polls have been crap.

I believe Rasmussen had Raese up by 5, almost the exact opposite of PPP. I beginning to wonder is Rasmussen has become more of a follower this cycle or not. IF he has, this is troubling - I really thought we had this one in the bag.

They are trying to do now what worked for them in 2008, convince people not to bother voting..just go vote..Rasmussen is a very reliable poll and has Manchin down by 5..PPP is the same poll that had Doug Hoffman up by 20 points..they get their poll numbers out of their asses, don’t buy any of it
