We need a pessimist. It gives us optimists grounding. PS - The SUSA poll that says Boxer +8 used a 2006 turnout model. Fiorina +3 in the end 49-46 with 5 for various minor critters. I live in Cali.

If Alaska is that close, there will be a runoff and we could see Lisa Murky get re-elected with a RINO-Dem coalition

I figure +45 House, +5 Senate, due to a number of claw-backs by Dems in the recounts. My prediction is close to yours: +44 House, +6 Senate. True, we must remember the Dems will always win the close recounts.

I share your happiness and hope this forum does not come to a crawl or stop given high bandwith use during the results.
In 2000 and 2004 and around 9-11 it was hard to get on here except at 3AM

I am sure she will do what Charlie Crist has done and promise to caucus with the Democrats

I said 60 House and 7 SenateWe'll all know how close we came within 24 or less hours. I only wish some of the "prognosticators" had not been so "overwhelming" in their predictions.
"Underpromise and overdeliver" I always say!

You never answered my question.
What makes YOUR predictions any more credible those of Real Clear Politics?
And what makes them worthy of being “BREAKING NEWS” versus posting them in existing threads like the rest of us do?

Yes! He also played Harry Anderson’s slightly deranged father on Night Court - “I’m feeling MUCH better now” was a famous line.
