They need to put bars on the windows to stop the jumpers. What floor is Olberdope on? He Madcow and the Tingler could take the leap holding hands with Sgt Shultz landing in the puddle for topping.

That or they want us to get overconfident and be complacent, thinking we’ve got it in the bag. But I tend to lean towards Democrats getting their butts kicked 1894 style.

Great point. I already registered at DU so I can watch the meltdown ensue after they lock down their boards.

"But unlike 1994, when polls indicated the public had a positive view of the Republican party, a majority of Americans now do not have a favorable view of the GOP,"

That's hardly a disclaimer. Most of us here on Free Republic don't have a favorable view of the GOP. It's the Tea Party candidates (running under the Republican banner) that is motivating us this year.

The establishment RINO Republicans who gave us John McCain and are planning to shove Mitt Romney down our throats in 2012 are just as scared as the Democrats are these days.

What will the spin be or is it unspinnable?

We’ll have to see. Any spin will probably be along the lines of 0bama inherited bad stuff from Bush and you can’t clean up an eight-year mess in two years, yada, yada, yada.

The media will probably also lie and say that Pelosi and Reid also are being judged based on two years of being “leaders,” when really they came to power a full two years prior to 0bama, back in Jan. 2007.

If someone is being honest with himself or herself, he or she would come to the conclusion that Democrats have essentially controlled everything for nearly four full years and that they’ve had their chance ... and they failed ... failed miserably.

HOW TO SPEND A RELAXING EVENING ON NOV 2

FReeper Drango Drinking Game -- Whenever an announcer, reporter or pundit says:

Tsunami = drink
Historical = drink
Catastrophic = drink
"Barney Frank is in trouble" = drink “Speaker Boehner” = drink
“Pelosi resigns” = drink
“100 seats” = chug
“NPR defunded” = chug
"Monica Lewinsky" = bonus drink and blast from the past
("Landslide" does not count as it will be said all night long)

FReeper Doulos1 Drinking Game -- Whenever an announcer, reporter or pundit says:

gridlock = 2 drinks
racial overtones = 2 drinks
uneducated voters = 2 drinks
overreaction = 2 drinks
corporations bought the election = 2 drinks
The Obamas decide to stay in India = drink till you blackout.

FReeper Liz Drinking Game -- Whenever an announcer, reporter or pundit says:

Illinois went Republican---chug
Obama has no comment--chug
Michele's campaigning dragged Dems to defeat--chug
(spy-cam) glassine envelopes slipped through WH back door--chug
Chug an extra 2-3 brews if spy cam captures Rahm crying on Chicago street corner. If Rahm holds sign that says, "See what happens when you fire me," break open a magnum of chilled Moet Chandon Dom Perignon.

Baghdad Bob Gibbs says "loss is no big deal"--throw glass at TV screen

This is just CNN playing catch-up — something that was predicted for the last few days before the election. It is done to give CNN some legitimacy, after playing the Democrat card for the last few months.

BUT, judging by the ratings, CNN is also getting a giant kick in the BUTT. I just love it when the lame-streamers have to report on things you just know are tearing up their innards.

"But unlike 1994, when polls indicated the public had a positive view of the Republican party, a majority of Americans now do not have a favorable view of the GOP," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

As long as the GOP is run by people like Karl Rove, Michael Steele and Mitt Romney, I would agree. The battle to take back the country starts with the battle to take over the Republican Party. That task is far from finished.

This article as so many others NOW, and in the past few weeks, months actually since it was determined the DemoRATS have thoroughly pissed MOST everybody off is IMO more disinformation. My belief is the spread is much more than ten points.

The Left OWNS the media other than say Fox, and sometimes that appears to be a convenience to the Left as well.

At this time I don’t get excited about much of what I read in anticipation of a “Republican Tsunami”, or however the current article of read portrays the coming event as all too often there is an ulterior motive such as trying to make it seem the battle is over so we drop our guard, don’t vote, whatever in their benefit.

No matter what you read (I/we already voted) the Fat Lady sings on Tuesday. Everybody that hasn’t voted to block the Obama agenda yet by choosing Conservatives for office must do so by Tuesday evening to hear the Fat Lady sing the tune they want to hear.

“CNN Genenic Ballot Poll (Republicans 52-42 Dems)”

That’s an optimistic number. However we can’t count our chickens because law-breaking RATS, at this very hour, are engaged in derailing the election by way of fraudulent voting. And with the thugs in charge of the justice department, we can’t get too optimistic.

I’ll be sure to vote, but there are way too many “dead heat” Senate races out there. It makes me nervous.

I couldn’t imagine voter anger persisting all the way through Election Day at the intense levels we’ve seen since the health plan passed last March.

I think a lot of angry and frustrated people circled voting day IN RED on the calendar a long time ago and imagined a big red target on the backs of their deaf and uncaring "representatives" in government. As a civilized people, it's all they could do.

(for now)

I think if anything,cheap shot by CNN aside,it tells me people are finally awake and not trusting politicians and questioning how they have run the country.We’ve had a ruling class for far too long. The face’s change too slowly and rather than worrying about the nation they worry about votes. I think its a very healthy skepticism.

It makes us nervous too....IF they really are a “Dead Heat”.

The disinformation makes it difficult to believe anything at this point in time prior to the election.
