The last three years have been quite scary for me as I relived many things that I thought I left behind in communist Romania when I decided to immigrate to the United States in 1978.
I have deja vus every day. I wake up wondering what freedoms have I lost today completely, have been curtailed, or are in the process of being curtailed through laws that none of the Congressmen who voted for them have read. How much closer am I today to living in a totalitarian society?
I wondered to myself, What happened to the separation of powers and to the famous American checks and balances? What happened to the rule of law and equal under the law that Americans were so famous for? People shrug their shoulders, give me puzzled looks and cannot answer my questions. Everybody is putting their hopes on Novembers mid-term election and its outcome. What if the election does not turn the way we hope it will? What then? Are we going to be content to live under communism?

Because it runs out of other peoples money..
SECOND AMENDMENT
When the citizenry get rewarded for not creating or producing wealth, pretty soon there is no more.
It hasn’t failed....N’ynet!
It hasn’t had enough time to succeed. /s
Chiefly because it fails to take into account human nature!
Communism and all its’s children,Fascism,Progressivism,Marxism, Democrat Party etc etc, are Ideas whose birthright is hatred.
Hatred of others that have more than them, hatred of business, hatred of people of other races and especially the “inferiors”. They hate the sick and infirm (useless eaters).
The one thing they covet more than any other is POWER, pure POWER, to rule over other people.
Although I’m sure you understand the problem, many do not.
A Communist believes that true equality CAN be possible and IS possible, with everyone sharing the work load, the food, their possessions, and everything. If life really worked that way, it would indeed be ‘Paradise’.
However, in REALITY (the one thing the true Communist can’t adjust to), people have this God-given thing in them called AMBITION. Ambition in it’s ‘good’ form drives people to make things and do things for the betterment of mankind. Ambition in its ‘bad’ form, also known as ‘greed’, makes people do things for the betterment of themselves. Humans are hard-wired with this.
To those who are greedy, a Communist society is excellent. As they rise to positions of power, they tell the people “I’ll be in charge until we get to that place where I am not longer needed. When we achieve True Communism, I will take my place among you all”. In the mind of any rational person, they KNOW, deep in their heart of hearts that there is NO WAY that person will EVER step down. In fact, they will attempt to gain more and more power until they have power over ALL.
Lenin knew this, Stalin knew this, and every leader in the Communist world knew or knows this. Some were more open about it than others and didn’t even bother to disguise their naked ambition.
Sadly, the ‘average American socialist/communist’ (or the average American who CHOOSES to stay ignorant about what they believe) has swallowed the idea that equality is possible. Those in the American socialist/communist elite keep telling them that, even though they know it not to be true.
And so it goes.
Because humans aren’t perfect.
See Genesis 3 for further explanation.
It is a system that cannot work and never will. It is based on moral relativism, which eventually twists itself into an Oligarchic Totalitarian buddy system where the ruling class gets all the royalties and the base population gets bread crumbs and watered down porridge.
Revolution is the norm from which this failed system has generated over the past 500 years or so. Chaos and anarchy are the guaranteed outcomes.
Classical Economics (capitalism) is not an economic system but an accurate description of how people deal with each other.
Replacing it with any other system rapidly cuts people out of the equation and you end up with no input (people) and no output (people).
And that is why Socialism doesn’t work. It is irrelevant and blind to the people and their needs.
Because it’s against human nature!
Human selfishness.
In a perfect world with perfect people who only thought of others and never of themselves, communism would be ideal.
But in the real world people who work extra hard or take risks want to be rewarded, and resent those who slack off and do nothing but demand to be taken care of.
Maybe on a small-scale level, say on a Kibbutz, but other than that...
I hope when the new folks take over that they seriously take on the job of telling us, one by one, what was wrong with WHAT obama and his cronies did and WHY the way they did it was wrong. We need to have pointed out to us the way things are supposed to work since apparently not many people know, or remember, or care.
If we can't get things back on track this time around, we are in BIG trouble.
Now is the time to educate the public on why the founding fathers did things the way they did. They would be aghast at the way Congress does things these day. They would be aghast at what the president and judges can do these days when congress doesn't stop them but actually helps them change our laws and even our Constitution.
Who will be the leader to take on this important job?? It better be someone who is a very good communicator.
because it is
anti-life
anti-human nature
anti-requirements for life proper to a rational being
anti-dictates of reason
anti-demands of reality
anti-justice
anti-morality
anti-integrity
Yes! AND...on a Kibbutz, there is that element of something the Communist/socialist will NEVER acknowledge...FAITH. Without that ‘higher reason’ to work together for the benefit of all, it will ALWAYS devolve into the few ruling over the many.
In the early days of the Christian church, the Bible itself said the believers shared their possessions with each other. You do NOT read anything about one group or person “lording it over” another. They did it in worship to their Creator.
Something that is utter anathema to a Communist/socialist.
Communism will never work for one simple reason. The minute a decision has to be made Communism is done.
The phrase that best describes Communism is, “Now what?”
Communism is an unbridled lust for power with no clue how to actually govern. Like the dog who chases the car and finally catches it. “I caught the car, Now what?” Like Obama’s Presidency. “I became President, Now what?”
If an alien came to earth and saw Communism in action, they would probably say it was a virus.
As I see it, Communism is an ideological cover for a criminal enterprise which steals from the people to feed its own greed.
