“Cast my vote to retire Moran - for probably the 10th time.”

I’ve also been voting against Jim Moran for years. This year I’m out of VA due to family commitments; however, I did vote absentee. I never miss an opportunity to vote against Moran.

Does that make all bird feeders a no-no then? I love to feed the birds!

Going out to vote with my 6 year old daughter. Might as well teach her what “straight party republican” means.

I may never be counted and end up in the trash, just as you fear. It is my understanding that absentee ballots are not counted in most states if the winning candidate receives more votes than total number of absentee ballots.

Report that in Pa.’s early voters were over 50% Republican...by about 10:30 est. I’ll be voting this afternoon.

They still should be counted on principle alone.

That never happens in my voting district here in Grand Rapids.

I suppose we just dont have a history of voting fraud. Our elections tend to go as the general consensus assumes it will.

But I always do take ID. Really do wish they would check them.

I voted in Rock Hill, SC - 10:00 AM. 20 people in line, so a lot of turn out for early midday.

I think I’m going to bed and waking up, oh, around 7:00 PM.

DU is going to be hilarious to monitor today! Such as this comment:

Democrats may be wandering in the desert many years, so they should use the time wisely.

I do like the fact that their board identifies donating members. FR should use the peer-pressure effect to get more of us to donate!

Gotta get me one of those rubber bracelets that says:

WWLH?

In hot pink, of course.

You may could avoid the lines if you had voted early and been one of the almost 90,000 that voted early in Collin County this election.

They just posted a clip from 'Conan the Barbarian' at Ace of Spades HQ...it is the clip where a warlord asks Conan "What is best in life?" Conan replies...

"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women".

This one time...Arnold nails it!

Turnout heavy in my Republican County in NJ (Morris) even though the Republicans are going to win, it seems like the Republicans are enthusiastic anyway.

Morning All....thank you SEMom for doing this thread.

A quick report, but first, heh, an anecdote. Until today, I’m not making this up, I had no idea what GOTV meant. I thought it was some kind of special station on the cable channel that...I dunno....was hip and cool, for folks on the GO. Not that I’m proud of this but for a smile....

My observation is that I vote a very small polling place and normally around ten in the am is nobody there. Today...it was packed. Dunno know what this means but tis my report.

For those from Merryland and as an insight into how NON-political junkees vote, talked to 33 year old daughter in Baltimore. She tells me NO to Kratovil...he’s history, never shoulda been there to begin with. She voted, yes she did, FOR Mulkulski....sheesh, that little lesbian. Daughter had problem with IRS last year and Mikulski made it right for her. Well hell, I guess if a congress critter does a good job for you they deserve your vote. Daughter did tell me that yeah, she knows Mikulski is a Democrat (and daughter knows what I think of them) but she was grateful for the service Babs gave her.

Daughter said she voted AGAINST Sarbanes....she didn’t know the guy, knew he was Republican, HATES Sarbanes.

Daughter voted AGAINST slots at the Arundel Mills Mall cause she says that there’s also plans to have strip clubs there and nobody’s telling about this. Daughter lives close to this Mall and this is a Merryland hot item thing this year.

Surround the comment with these...< i >< / i> without the spaces I put in.
