I worked for a couple years in Los Angeles, and I met some minorities there who just automatically vote democrat because in their view the GOP is the white man’s party. There’s a lot of reverse racism in places like LA. I’ve been there and seen it up close and personal. That’s not the only factor at work tonight and not the biggest factor either. The economy is the main driver of this election and disagreement with the policies of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. I’m not saying race is the main factor either, but outside of the South the voting results are starting to correlate with the percentage of white people in a state. The South is much more conservative than the North of course, and that offsets much of the affect of racial demographics in the south.

The RNSC, led by my sorry @$$ senator Cornball, is crap!!!

Not one penny to RNSC...only to TEA Party and candidates directly.

kick the rest of the corrupt bastards out

Just dawned on me, we need a FReeper who's good with graphics to create a "CORRUPT BASTARDS" bumper sticker replacing the "O" with Obama's logo. LOL

We’re making history here.

We all have to keep this in mind. If McCain had won, we wouldn't have the Awakening and tonight's results. (+ now we're the most armed populace in the history of mankind. : ) )

I wish I could. You have miners that are young and don't follow politics. They are easily swayed when their jobs are threatened. The good news is that this area is also ranching and good down to earth folks that do pay attention to the state of the country. I would be surprised if Elko County didn’t come out for Angle.

Bachmann won? Outstanding.

I’m here in CA. The idiots of my state apparently just elected Moonbeam and that friggin’ imbecile Boxer. Oh well, still lots of good news out there tonight.

I want to believe that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” But tonight I’m not so sure. Tonight my faith in good prevailing over evil is severely shaken.
