NYT: Reid Leads by 12 Points in Clark County, NV
NYT 538 BLOG ^

We've finally gotten some votes in from Nevada. They're early ballots, it looks like, and they're from Clark County, home to three-quarters of the state's population, where Harry Reid has a roughly 12-point lead over Sharron Angle. By contrast, Barack Obama won Clark County by 19 points in 2008, when he won Nevada by 12.5 points over all. If you extrapolate those numbers -- the Democrat performs 6-7 points worse in the whole of Nevada as he does in Clark County -- it suggests that a 12-point margin in Clark County would probably be enough for Mr. Reid to carry Nevada by a couple of points. But there are several caveats. First, we don't know if the results of live ballots will match those of early ones. Second, rural turnout might be comparatively higher in this election than it had been in 2008. Still, that is not a bad number for Harry Reid, which is why trading markets now think the race slightly favors him.

The criminals, the mob, the union thugs and the commie ‘RATS took control of this one to pull Dingy’s gonads out of the fire.

I will make it a point to never go to Vegas as long as Dinghy Harry is representing Nevada.

Lots of California Dems in Clark County, but hang in there we have plenty of votes not in yet. Here are the results as they come in http://www.silverstate2010.com/General.aspx.

If dingy wins, then every conservative must boycott Las Vegas for the next 6 years.

Dont panic yet.. I bet rural areas have a higher turnout in 2010 than 2008. If so, Angle wins.

On InTrade, an Angle loss is already a done deal.

Down 62% in past 2 hrs.

I’m listening to Santorum on Hugh Hewitt saying it looks like Nevada is going to go for Reid.

I’m sitting in the Venetian, Angle’s HQ and the mood is quiet. A real nail biter.

I would have bet my next paycheck that Reid was retired this year. I can not fathom how he has any kind of lead out of the gate. I do not believe the folks in Nevada are this dumb, seriously! What gives?

That’s it? That is his best hope.
When the FBI starts investigating him, he will be glad he lost.

He’s toast.

Did he Franken this? I mean with all the stories of the SEIU involvement, the faulty machines, the pre-voted ballots and the power outage earlier . . . it seems possible.
