Let's make a central thread that we can point to the historic accomplishments of yesterday. For instance:
This number of seats gained was the highest since XXXX.
This is the first time the House has had less than 200 Democrats since XXXX.
Which races turned from Dem to Republican?
Which Governorships and State Legislatures flipped?
How many Governorships do we have now?
Which Republicans or Tea Partiers are sitting in which old Democrat leadership seats?
You get the idea...
In education, liberals are not only the majority, but the dictatorship.
Though a sincere attempt, homeschooling is not the answer.
Liberals, with their need to assault our young, must be hounded out of education as if they were child molesters.
Their hateful rhetoric of anything western must be exposed and shamed.
Unless conservatives on mass don't attempt to eradicate this hate, within one more generation, the game will be over.
Because two idiot Obama-bot districts ran out of ballots & a judge let them stay open 2 extra hours It is assumed that enough dead people in those districts voted for Malloy
RCP shows +6 for Republicans in Senate with only 2 (Alaska and WA) undecided. The +6 does NOT include Murkowski. Since she presumably would caucus with Republicans, this seat would be a GOP hold.

RCP shows +61 for House with 10 still undecided.

Republicans also have gained 8 governships with 5 decided.
I’d hoped for something better in the Senate. Everywhere else it’s an unquestioned blowout.
Not only did the Democrats have a 59-41 edge in the U.S. Senate coming into 2010, but they had a huge advantage in the way the six-year Senate terms came up for election in 2010. There were 40 Democratic seats in the U.S. Senate where there was no election this year, while the Republicans only had 23.
Based on that fact alone, this should have been an opportunity for the Democrats to make big gains in the Senate. But that party is in such terrible shape that they've had a hard fight just to hold onto their seats -- while the Republicans successfully defended all of their incumbents and added a few more.
The MSNBC results still show Colorado with no clear winner, which explains the discrepancy between the "undecided" numbers for MSNBC (3) and RCP (2).
I think it very telling that in the past, the MEDIA was calling 'counts' on these elections with as plus or minus figure for the unresolved races at midnight on Tuesday, and they were headlines on the next morning's Issue. On the internet it would have been there at 12:01.
Now, as you mention, no one seems to know or want to say. (in the Media)
The T.E.A. Party members must remind the new Majority (Republicans) that ‘party’ cannot be used for an excuse.
We hold them to the same standards as the DEMS.
If you try to sink the ship, we will throw you over the side.
Agreed.
