It’s gotta be Bush / Cheney / Rove / BP / Halliburton’s fault, somehow...

The last similar occurrence was quite awhile ago, long before man and his gas guzzling SUVs ruled the plains

So if we want to effect global climate change, which way do we make the currents flow, and how do we do it?

Yeah sure, let me know when you figure out if that 70’s ice age is still coming or not. If not, I want my money back for the crappy college books I had to buy.

I think their favorite computer model is the one where you feed absolutely ANY data into it and shows it is either caused by or causes global warming.
The old, long-discredited "Hockey Stick" model was pretty good at it. You could feed your grocery list into it and out comes global warming.

The models all agree on two things: We’re doomed, and it’s our fault.
The enviros are split on whether it’s a good thing that we (mankind) are doomed. Some want to hold the weather constant (yeah, that will happen). Others just want to make it impossible for man to survive because the world would be better off without us. (If the world were a paradise, and there were no people to enjoy it, would it still be a paradise? I stay up at night pondering such questions.)

Thanks Norm
It has some reason to it.
Water tables were very low.
The Med Sea became a fresh water reserve for a period and over filled its bank.
I will copy this piece for my archives.
