Bag of Uncounted Ballots Found in Bridgeport

In what has become one of the stranger twists in an already bizarre Governor's race, a bag of uncounted ballots was found in Bridgeport Thursday night.

Republican officials were approached by Democratic operatives and told about the surprise ballot bag, according to Bridgeport GOP Chairman Marc Delmonico.

“It adds to the inconsistencies from the Democratic Party in Bridgeport. It just keeps adding to it,” said Delmonico. “There’s nothing odd about it; there’s certainly nothing missing about it,” said Ed Maley, a representative for the Democratic Party.

Delmonico said Democrats asked to have several people deputized to count the uncounted ballots, but Republicans objected, claiming that wasn't proper procedure in the vote-counting process.

“These ballots are getting extraordinarily heightened scrutiny. They’re being dealt with in a public fashion, an open public process so that everyone can witness it,” said Mark Anastasi, the city attorney for Bridgeport.

Instead the GOP asked police to take custody of the bag of ballots until the matter could be sorted out.

The votes could be pivotal in the race for Governor, in which neither candidate has conceded defeat.

Wednesday, Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz declared Democrat Dan Malloy the "unofficial" winner, but numbers released by her office show Republican Tom Foley still leading Malloy by more than 8,000 votes. Those totals do not include any of the vote totals from the City of Bridgeport.

Bridgeport has become the focal point of what has turned into a circus of an election.

A ballot shortage led to long lines on Election Day, and a judge issuing an order to keep polls open until 10 p.m. Tuesday, two hours longer than every other town in the state.

Because of the shortage, many of the votes cast Tuesday were done so on photocopied ballots.

Election officials began counting those ballots just after 5 p.m. Thursday when the new bag of uncounted ballots was discovered.

Bysiewicz said she didn't expect the vote totals from Bridgeport to be submitted to her until Friday at the earliest.

They are stealing elections openly now, and thumbing their noses at us while they do it. If you dare to say anything about it, they shriek, "Bush 2000!" (My response to that is always, 'That election was not stolen. It was stopped before it WAS stolen.")

The Washington Governor's face, the Al Franken race, there was another I can't recall details about but I think it was in Texas last election - where they "found" a bag of ballots in the trunk of someone's car???? Give. Me. A. Break.

These new Republican state houses need to stop this and they need to stop it ASAP. If your "bag of ballots" isn't there to be counted, then it is inadmissable. Sorry. Maybe you shouldn't be hiring incompetent SEIU union f***s to rig your elections for you.

For those who may be unfamiliar with how this is done, it's the old Cook County(Chicago) trick. The democrats in a large urban center hold back submitting the precinct vote counts, blaming the delay on some bogus problem, until most of the tallies are in and they can determine how many votes they need to win. They then round up the required number of street people and pay them to fill out stolen ballots, which are then ‘found’ in a closet or the trunk of a car, etc.

...and how is it that they didn’t know how many registered voters there were. This shortage looks a little too planned for me as does the “found” bag of Photocopied ballots resulting from that shortage.

When Gregoire beat Dino Rossi in WA after two recounts, the election was turned on a box of votes found in a “closet”.

Simple rule. If a vote can’t be accounted for from the time it is cast to the time it is counted, it needs to be disregarded, and the person responsible for the chain of custody needs to be prosecuted for election fraud.

That will stop these games.

This is such banana-republic blatant electoral fraud. I always wondered why the old Soviet Union bothered with their sham elections. Now I wonder the same thing about us.

It would be nice if one day, ballots were as secure as, say, lottery tickets. Each lottery ticket has an identification number on it. If you show up with a winning ticket, the lottery officials can instantly tell where the ticket was purchased and if it was stolen. Yet, every election, we seem to run across bags and bags and bags filled with ballots which coincidentally contain lots of democrat votes.

One of the oldest tricks in the book. I guess the Slave Party must have had a hard time finding people who could read to fill them out.

Why do Republicans never “find” a bag of ballots?...........

Because there are few positions in government requiring both a brain and an ounce of creative integrity. Hence Democrats run all the lower levels of bureaucracy, including counting the votes.

HILARIOUS! The rats got their timings wrong; she was supposed to make that declaration AFTER the bag was 'found'. Now they have to think up some fancy justifications.

That was how it was done before, but they've streamlined it significantly.

This is why "registrations" done by ACORN or Mi Familia are so crucial to their methods. They have thousands of bogus registered voters that obviously did not vote. They find out how many bogus ballots they need, stay behind locked doors and fill out that many ballots, then fraudulently sign that many fraudulent signatures on their rolls to claim the bogus voters showed up to vote.

Obviously, they are also manufacturing ballots off-site now as well. Probably using union labor. Just look for the union label on your bogus ballot! It's usually there in the district where 102% of the population showed up to vote.
