I was heartened to see the disgust with which people reacted to the news of this book being sold on Amazon, but this public outcry is too little, too late.
Boycotting Amazon for carrying this title not only has been tried before (and failed), but it ignores the root causes of the problem. On sites like Blogher the calls for Amazon to remove one of Greaves’ books are little more than demands that Amazon hide the reality of the well organized pro-pedophilia movement which has been empowered both by the rise of the Internet and our own inability to confront evil as a culture. This is not the first time it has been pointed out that Amazon is helping sell pro-pedophile propaganda, but it is the first time Americans – and the Right in particular – have expressed this level of outrage, which is part of the problem.
Where was the outrage when Amazon was found to be selling a book called Paedophilia: The Radical Case written by a convicted pedophile named Tom O’ Carroll? O’Carroll was a founding member of the leftist influenced Paedophile Information Exchange in the 70s and was publicly working toward normalizing child sexual exploitation for years, until he was arrested in 2006. Private sellers on Amazon still list the book in the marketplace.
Where were the calls for boycotting Amazon when it published the writings of a Canadian leftist and NAMBLA member who went by the name Viamund the Rake, and whose oeuvre included a book of awful poetry called Viamund the Boy-love Vampire Says…? His work has also appeared on the website Counterpunch under the handle Pariah.

This is not a new agenda, it is a little discussed facet of the sex positive agenda. And taxpayers are being forced to fund it.
That last defense could be used to allow all sorts of evil. No sale. I’m not faulting you, but I am Amazon.
Keeping this book on it’s forum was a terribly misguided thing. The potential devastation to only one child would be horrific enough, but this book opens up the potential for all children to be targets of well-trained people.

...I disagree. Not boycotting allows the disease to grow and slowly makes it mildly acceptable behavior. It “numbs” the populace and lowers the bar. “NYPD Blue” was the first network show to have partial nudity (Dennis Franz’ bare butt) and previously unacceptable language. Now, 15 years later, you can’t escape foul language on the MSM.
Pedophiles are the new gays, apart from the fact that many of them are gay. They can essentially use the same, screwball arguments for acceptance in society as gays have used to promote the gay agenda. Sexual perverts have taken over civil rights, and PC has prepared society to accept whatever comes.

Pressuring Amazon to monitor its marketplace and remove this stuff automatically doesn't this evil from our society, it just pushes it out of sight where we don't have to be confronted with it. I'm all for boycotting Amazon until this book is removed from its database (and it has been), but if they had done so automatically, we wouldn't be talking about this. We wouldn't be reminded of the unimaginable evil that lives among us.

Already did it. Sent the bastards two nasty emails telling them I would never buy a damned thing.
No kidding. I never watched the show, but I do recall the attention the nude scene received. I can only imagine the publicity (and outrage) that would have resulted if it had been Dennis Franz that had been chosen.
