During the past couple last weeks of the election, I commented to my husband, he’s so fragile, it looks like he is physically going to break. Remember his non crowds at his events, while conservatives were drawing 1000’s. He can’t handle the job. Wait until the msm starts asking him tough questions. He demands adoration, and that part is over. These next two years will be interesting.

I got carded for liquor the other day, they card everyone who appears under 40. I’m 52. The check out gal made my day! I told her so. Don’t complain about appearing not to be a senior. Wear it as a badge of honor! Think of it as reverse carding.
Remember when they thought you weren’t old enough to buy liquor, now, they think you’re not old enough for a senior discount. Then you were offended, today, rejoice!
Change “iconic” to “ironic” and this statement makes more sense.

I talk to my daughter daily, but, I could hardly wait to say ‘Happy Veterans Day’ to her on Thursday morning. I knew I’d call her. It was on my mind all week, but, I restrained myself. I called her first thing Thursday morning, and was so excited to talk to her. I could hardly wait to thank her. She was so appreciative, the typical, aw shucks response.
For what it’s worth, I usually don’t write free verse.
But I believe in this country. I believe in those who sacrifice to keep it safe.
I hope she likes it.
