Whoopi: O’Reilly Implied Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabar Behind 9/11 Attacks
breitbart.tv ^ | 11-15-10

Posted on 11/15/2010 8:12:24 PM PST by Justaham

What he had said was too volitile and I felt that his statement, which I won't repeat, seems wrong to me because Muhammad Ali is a Muslim. Is he responsible? Is that what you're saying, Bill, that it was him or Kareem Abdul Jabar? You mean they did that?

Whoopi sounds like a racist to me...Why didn’t she name a few more black American muslims who we could never know their true feelings on the koran, as it relates to infidels...

Very Weak...I bet I could guess how Malcolm X and Louie “Calypso” Farakahn would feel on the subject...

And, by the way, Is IT Our Fault???

It is correct to say that Muslims were attacked by the West

but it wrong to say that the West was attacked by Muslims.

She is a buffoon.

...and this is why the TSA does what it does. Political correctness, and uncommon sense.

The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Me saying that doesn't imply I think Khristy Yamaguchi had anything to do with it.

The intentional obtuseness of this supposedly articulate brand of liberal is laughable.

Steely Speedy Transcript:

The Oprah: Whoopie recently made headlines on The View when she and her co-host Joy Behar stormed off the set because (applause) Bill O’Reilly was there, and Bill O’Reilly had made you mad. So, what happened, in that moment?

Whoopie: I heard myself say something that would have cost me a great deal of money.

The Oprah: Mm hmm… (laughter) mmm hmm…

Whoopie: From the NBC…

The Oprah: And you were quoted as saying you were going to be… ahh…. fired.

Whoopie: Oh, ahh… Oh yeah…

The Oprah: Yeah.

Whoopie: Cause I… ah… ‘Cause I said… said… this is… this word, and knew that if I didn’t get… off stage, what was coming. Because it was, you know… I… I know Bill, I like Bill, and I think he just got caught up in that moment, and didn’t… realize… that what he had said was too volatile… and I felt that his statement, ahh… which I won’t repeat, seemed wrong to me, because Muhammed Ali… is a muslim. Is he responsible…? Is that what you’re sayin’, Bill? That it was him, or Kahreem Abdul Jabar, ya’ mean, they did that? But I wasn’t in that… right state of mind (chuckles)…

The Oprah: To articulate…

Whoopie: To articulate that. All I could feel comin’ was a rumble, like a “big Whoopie” was comin’ from the back (laughter) (Whoopie makes a gesture like the Incredible Hulk walking) (more laughter)…

The Oprah: Hooo!

Whoopie: And ah… you know, and he consequently said, you know, maybe I shouldn’t’ve said some of the things I said, and that’s why Joy and I came back.

The Oprah: Well I think what is interesting, you know, I was talking about that, I know you’re not going to promote the book but I was reading the book, I think it’s really interesting…

Whoopie: Mmm hmm. (An image of the book is displayed, slowly rotating against a background bed of blurry roses)

The Oprah: … and thoughtful, in terms of you saying when you know… you can’t handle the situation, the simple thing to do is to walk away…

Whoopie: Absolutely.

The Oprah: Yes. I love how you say “when you don’t know what to say, the best thing to say is ‘swell’.” (laughter). “Swell.”

Whoopie: Yeah!

The Oprah: ‘Swell’ covers a lot of territory!

Whoopie: It can mean anything!

The Oprah: It... a… a lot of territory. So how did you feel when… ah… Miss Barbara later said that she didn’t feel you all should have walked off?

Whoopie: Well, ah, you know, like all of us, she’s entitled to her opinion.

The Oprah: Mm hmm.

Whoopie: But I feel that that was what I needed to do, and… and I… I’ve, you know, no regrets. And I feel like it was OK because I didn’t hear that voice in the back of my head goin’ what are you doing?

The Oprah: Mm hmm. Cause when you have regrets, later you hear that…

Whoopie: That’s right, you hear that voice tellin’ you don’t do this, but that voice said you better get up.

The Oprah: (Laughs). (audience laughs along)

Whoopie: You better get up and go! ‘Fore you get fired, you’d better go! So I did, and … you know, I don’t regret very many things that I’ve done, in my life, because they’re my choices, you know… and so…

The Oprah: You don’t regret walking off the stage.

Whoopie: No! Because it was… for me, it was the right thing to do.

The Oprah: Because you know that you would have said… some… kind of… profane…

Whoopie: I would have cussed ‘em out! (loud laughter) (some applause)

The Oprah: You would have cussed them out. And ah… one of the things…

Whoopie: But then, that would’ve meant… that I was out of control. (ends)

Yes, of course it is our fault. /s

When someone says, for example, that the Germans invaded Poland in 1939, he is automatically insulting Ludwig van Beethoven, Marlene Dietrich, Martin Luther, Albert Einstein, etc, etc.

He is also insulting the Polish, and anyone born in 1939.

So the PC version of “the Germans invaded Poland in 1939” is “the * invaded the * in *.”

Whoopie Goldberg is a good example of the consequences of society's discouragement and thus inability to call out "stupid" when we see it. Paralyzed by labels such as racist, sexist, anti this and anti that, we have completely lost our bearings. A critique of reason does not exist anymore. It is gone from the public mores. Stupidity is applauded and even encouraged.

There is a momentum coming as a consequence of all the useful idiots, and the Muslims are going to ride that wave to their own benefit. It's not a question of if, it's just a matter of when, because there isn't a catastrophe big enough to shake the destructive pride and selfishness from some of our citizens: read Democrats.

She needs to learn the difference between imply and infer. O’Reilly implied nothing about ‘all Muslims’ or those she named. She inferred that meaning!
