JUNEAU -- Republican U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski says she doesn't think Sarah Palin has the leadership qualities to be president, nor the "intellectual curiosity" needed to make good policy.

Murkowski also told Katie Couric of the "CBS Evening News" that she doesn't think Palin enjoyed governing.

jeffc, reading comments on the ADN is like reading comments on DailyKos

you can’t form any good estimation of what real people think by looking there

Who cares what the Cow thinks?
She could not win her primary and if she wins the election, it will be by fraud.

“and Palin did not finish her term as governor”

Ummmm...she Didn’t finish to save the taxpayers of Alaska Millions of dollars in legal fees for all of the many false charges brought against her by the Dems and so called leaders....NO CHARGES ever stuck btw.

She also left a very solid leader in Sean Parnell who just won by a 2-1 margin in his re-election bid.

I know Tokyo Rove is only paying you 8 bucks an hour to go on blogs to denigrate SP, but we know the dickheads that post at ADN are from the lower 48 employed by Tokyo Rove’s dear friend david axelrod. This has been known since 8-29-08. But when you look at the days and weeks before 8-29-08 nothing is posted on ADN criticizing Palin. Hmmm.

[she doesn’t think Palin enjoyed governing]

In Muskie’s case, it’s all about the power and ruling and she loves it.

Doubtful. Palin’s backfired attempt to take out Murkowski may be a reason Palin doesn’t make it to the White House.

Joe Miller. Alaska Senator in 2016! We should start this now.

2014 would be better. He should run vs. Begich whose win in 2008 vs. Ted Stevens was a fluke.

Jeff—I think you bring up a good point about Alaska.

Palin got outflanked by Murkowski on this one. She backed a poor candidate in Miller and doubled down on him. It wasn’t just dems and Rino’s at work here. 67% of the people of Alaska voted for the two options that weren’t named Joe Miller.

I refuse to buy all this garbage I read on here about fixed elections, crooked ballots, etc. We will see where the final votes and absentee ballots come out, but this does not appear to be a close election where Al Franken mysteriously shows up with 500 ballots with his name checked.

The Tea Party gave this a good shot. When you run good candidates like we did here in Wisconsin with Ron Johnson (who got his start at a Tea Party rally last spring) you win.

I loved Joe Miller when I first saw him. If I still lived in Alaska I would have voted for him. But as those stories came out, you realized this guy had a lot of major question marks. If we run bad candidates that we don’t vet out like Miller and O’Donnell, we will lose. Even in a somewhat red state like Alaska.

Lol

Lisa doesn’t have the intellectual honesty to run for anything.

She does have some pissed off ex-cons with connections though.

I wonder when the last time The Corrupt Bass Turds in the Alaska media gave a flying fig what Lisa Micowsky said.

And for those not-in-the-know, I intentionally misspelled her name.

When's the last time Lesa Micausky led anything?

I wonder how many people would show up at Kool-Aid Party Rally if she was the main attraction? I wonder how many people would watch a TV show starring herself and her family?

Probably about as many people as read the Anchorage Daily News. Not including the parakeets.

A philosophy question to ponder: If somebody says something in The Anchorage Daily News, does anybody read it?

Uh-huh. You'll be scratching your head over that one all day. It'll probably keep you awake at night.

Sarah Palin is obviously the strongest and most capable leader we’ve seen since Ronald Reagan.

Jim Noble <3 Sarah Palin. If I could make her President tomorrow by waving a magic wand, I would do it.

BUT

It's really important not to be blinded by affection. The traditional path to the Presidency involves wiping out all your local, then statewide, enemies first.

That Our Lady of Wasilla doesn't have the Alaska GOP under her thumb is a concern.

You heard from the people of AK in the primary. Moocowski lost fair and square. This write-in process has been so bastardized by disregarding the laws of the state that it pure cheating if she wins. Palins early exit was the wisest choice to make with the rabid media anal exam and the constant lawsuits from Soros front groups. The state would be crippled and broke now if she were still fighting them. Dismiss what the people of AK think about Palin and focus on what the enemies of the US are still doing to take out who they think is dangerous to their cause.

I live in Alaska and I never for a moment swallowed any of the propaganda smear against Joe Miller, everything they accused him of was blown out of proportioned and idiots believed it.

Yes idiots in Alaska, dumbnuts living off of state money, too afraid to lose their connections of grants and pork projects.

If Lisa manages to win it will start an Alaska Civil War, I kid thee not.
