Yes. These agencies (TSA, DHS) were created by "conservatives."
What is also stunning is these pat downs seem to be done in full view of the audiance...as this young boys was. So tell me we are not already de-sensitized when the onlookers and other TSA people stood and watched this without a single protest! Sadly even the father allowed this in the first place.
Not to mention if people quit flying the airlines will go bankrupt...just another tactic of this administration to curtail our freedom of movement...as the TSA Officers and others have said...”you don’t like it..don’t fly!”

Let each private airline do it's own security and people will choose the best one or the one right for them. You know what that's called , THE FREE MARKET, FREEDOM.
What ALL of you are advocating is more government. The only thing you disagree with the government is on the methods that “We” or government is doing it. BS . government never works. Government should not be doing this nor most of the other things it is messing up. Let capitalism , the free market do it and leave capitalism alone, NOW, you statists one and all , you socialists.
I believe what you are trying to say is that Americans BELIEVE that tyranny can be tolerated if they believe it keeps them safe.
I understand your premise, but I also believe that there are limits regarding what Americans will put up with. One unique thing about Americans is that we have guns, and eventually, one will get to the point that the only thing that can be relied upon for safety is his/her gun. Also in their quest for safety, Americans will reach a point where the biggest threat to their safety is their government. Then what? Will they tolerate more authoritarianism? Or will they rebel against it? I suspect the latter is true.
I don’t fly much anymore but when I do, I charter something appropriate. I refuse to be searched by rude, over authoritative disgruntled government employees.
Ok I grant we don’t know if dad was instructed or volunteered to take off shirt, but that does not change the fact that what looks like a SEVEN year old or younger is being strip searched. I am sorry that is wrong. Wonder if we will see him on Dr. Phil in 10 years with all kinds of trust issues...
As a parent of 2 boys, I would not have them take off their shirts in airport unless I was instructed to do so.
If you go back and look at the vote, the Senate was evenly split between creating the TSA or allowing the existing private security companies to implement new federal guidelines. Democrats were in favor of creating the new bureaucracy while Republicans opposed it. It was Kay Bailey Hutchinson of Texas who broke the tie. Her compromise allowed airports to choose between the TSA or their old security services. Of course the TSA was free while the others were not, so that is how the TSA was able to take over airline security. But now we have one airport that is ready to throw out TSA and hire someone else. Others airports need to be pressured to follow suit.

Schools are silly no tolerance zones. Some places if a kid draws a picture of a gun the kid gets suspended and the DA will evaluate whether or not to press charges.
So in this country Americans have over and over again chosen safety over liberty. They choose this in big things and small things.

Two things to do:
1. Call as many new republicans for the next congress and demand they push to get TSA to drop this and start common sense profiling like the Israeli government does.
2. Call all the airports around oyu and tell them you won’t fly unless they kick TSA out and use a private screener that won’t molest your kids and feel up your wife, or zap them with radiation via the pornoviewer.

You showed these democrats here who are blaming conservatives and Republicans for creating the TSA that it was their democrats/marxists that were for the TSA. And you showed that democrats created the TSA with only 1 RINO voting with democrats to create it.
Third thing:

Call all the airlines you normally use and tell THEM you won’t fly until the airports kick TSA out and use private security screeners that won’t molest your kids, feel up your wife (and yourself) and wont’ zap you with the pornovision. In addition to rifling through your baggage and stealing your cameras, electronics, etc.
