The 25ID is the first line of reinforcement should thingspop in Korea. They have been stripped of multiple Stryker and other combay elements to plug holes in the WOT. If anything were to happen we would be re-activating multiple NG units and that would take weeks if not months.
The 251D has been stripped of necessary defense elements?
We would have to reactivate the National Guard to have enough troops to make a difference? In my mind, that is as dangerous as no response at all. At least to the troops.
So I wonder...worst case scenario...would the current ROE that are in effect in Afghanistan apply to another military action?
