Everyone can see this is the only way to go, if they actually think about the problem they are trying to solve, instead of putting the rights of terrorists ahead of the rights of the innocent American people.

And where are the civil rights organizations? Everyone was up in arms about the "violation of civil rights" when the Bush administration wanted to listen in on phone conversations where one end was a terrorist in a foreign country, the other one in the US. But taking naked pictures and sexually groping innocent Americans, just because they are traveling by air seems perfectly fine.

Where is sanity?

to do that is racial profiling. makes no sense to me. if you are looking for a blonde you do not examine all the redheads walking by.

We all need to start contacting our Congressmen and demanding that this kind of common sense profiling be at the heart of our security overwatch. CAIR can go screw themselves.

This is a fine plan, yet does nothing for those who are naturalized Americans, like the Portland Bomber, or who will use Europe’s lax laws to travel under British Passports.

What do you do when they stop using Muslim names and travel using documentations that identifies them clearly?

You cannot identify terrorists by appearance.

There are many things they SHOULD do but won’t. Our Democrat overlords have decided that the average citizen is a potential enemy of the state.

Remember all that talk on MSNBC about Tea Party “extremists”? They actually believe that a white middle class family will sneak a bomb in a toddler’s diaper for the “republic”.

Good article by Deroy Murdock. Thanks for posting. Works until Islam sends through assymetric zombies...”blond-haired, blue-eyed devils”.

However, it isn’t at all necessary to profile as you suggest. Many of the Arabs and Africans in this country are Christian minorities escaping persecution by Muslims.

The best profile is - is the traveler a member of the middle eastern death cult cleverly disguised as a religion?

We just need a 100% reliable way to know if a traveler is one of them.

At worst, TSA officers might encounter a bomb-wielding passenger who matches the terrorist profile, but then breeze him through security so he doesn't feel uncomfortable. The result could be the sky-high calamity that Americans have feared since September 11.

Big Sis Nurse Ratched has instructed the SS TSA well - the above is more likely than we'd like to think...

Ten minutis studying the problem says that we should profile. Muslims should raise a warning flag. But will this happen? When pigs fly. We are ruled by idiots.

After 9/11 I had a conversation with a young Muslim friend who was appalled he wasn't check more thoroughly a few weeks later when he flew... he didn't feel airline security people were being kind or open minded - he felt they were putting his life at risk. As he said, the people who might fly an airplane into a building would look like him. And he didn't want to die so American liberals could feel they were 'inclusive'.

Time to get real - it's time for Janet to resign. The only good thing about the TSA is they act as unsuspecting recruiters for the Republican party. The TSA showcases control freak democrats to our advantage. TSA unionized democrats on "PC" speed politically work for us...they are the face of liberal totalitarian thuggery. But it doesn't work for the country. It's time for change - Deroy Murdock - the man who wrote this piece - is right: there are better ways.

What would that profile be? Today's threat comes almost exclusively from militant-Islamic males between about 18 and 35 who hail from the Middle East and predominantly Muslim African and south-Asian nations.

Your question: Where is sanity?

Not evident at US airports where profiling would have been a lot cheaper, a lot less invasive upon most Americans, a lot more respective of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights and a lot more effective than the fiasco going on now.

FBI thwarts terrorist bombing attempt at Portland holiday tree lighting, authorities say

Snip: Mohamed Osman Mohamud, 19, a Somali-born U.S. citizen, was arrested at 5:42 p.m., 18 minutes before the tree lighting was to occur, on an accusation of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Place a pig at the airport security entrances.

Pet the pig, then go right in.

Refuse to pet touch the pig, then get scanned.

Simple, easy, and cheap.
