If you’re saying that the RonPaulbot “side” of the TEA Party movement is aligned with the left, I’d counter that they aren’t really part of the movement — or at least they’re way on the fringe.

If you’re saying that the RonPaulbot AND TEA Party people are aligned with the left, well, then I’d disagree on the TEA Party side. To say the least...

And the fact that this furthers all of Obama’s goals

I saw part of an interview with Assange. He said he offered the State Department a look at the material before the release. They refused.

But if some twerp private stationed in Iraq can access all this information then our security protocols need a little screwtiny.

Obama is supposed to be oh so intelligent.

He couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel.

"I want Assange prosecuted under any number of laws. Marched into a 10 by 10 foot cell and left to rot."

Why not just shoot him at the base of the skull with a .22 short?

"Hunch. And the fact that this furthers all of Obama’s goals: Damage Hillary. Damage the US."

And, he took out Romney when he stated the Mass health plan was just like his.

Not that it causes me any distress, but the guy IS busy taking out potential opponents.

His BIG problem is Palin. She's take every shot he and the media can deliver...and she's shooting back with a bigger gun...more accurately.

I can't wait for the second half of 2012...we're gonna see (political) war on a scale the nation has never before witnessed.

I NEVER thought I’d defend Hillary, but she seems to have her head screwed on straight about State secrets and the need for privacy with our allies.

Yep, my FRiend, you've just described Chicago politics perfectly. Anyone who will take the time to look will see that this has been the Kenyan's strategy from day one (back in the Illinois state elections).

Don’t you mean Soros tells Assange to call for Hillary’s resignation? Duh. Pre-empt 2012 by Soros. Obama, dictator for life and then UN chief for life.

Assange Calls for Clinton Resignation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now we know why Obama has not acted swiftly to pe-empt Wikileaks on its past transgressions and on their latest espionage.

Assange is in the bag for Obama, and this proves Assange is in the Alinski network, and that he and Obama are hooked up.Obamas light talk of getting to Wikileaks is mere lip service. He has no intention of taking care of Assange to protect America’s diplomacy, or our warriors in Afghanistan.

Why didn’t Assange ask Obama to resign? Hillery Clinton is Obama’s biggest threat for his 2012 second term run. And Obama thinks he has just taken Clinton down.As Rush says, its time for more Operation Chaos.

Possibly. But someone would have to do that leaking, which would make him/her a target as well. I don’t know. My gut feeling is that he is going to be taken out fast.

I still remember those FBI files she had when the Clinton regime was in the WH. What ever happened to those files? Sounds like she is still into the spying business.

Bingo!

WTH! I can't believe posts on Free Republic concerning Hillary Clinton and the Wikileaks story! Freepers actually coming out on her side as if the spying had anything to do with national security. It did not! Seriously, take a look at the type of information that Clinton was seeking and ask yourself why she was interested in it and what it could be used for. Hillary was interested only in collecting dirt on foreign leaders to be used for LEVERAGE at a later date. This has always been this woman's M.O. as well as other democrat leaders. Why do you think Nancy Pelosi won her speakership back when it was in the dem parties absolute best interest to shake her off? She knows who has cash in the freezer and where the bodies are buried.

This is the highly touted Smart Power that will improve America's standing in the world? Seems it's nothing more that corrupt democrat machine politics on the world stage.

To me, this is the most logical explanation.

Although, Hillary has so many enemies in the world. It’s hard to single out just one as the culprit behind Assange.

ROFLMTO.....the plot thickens. From where is Assange running this website? The interpol warrant for him went out this evening? Imagine, it only took his Wikileak threat to expose a bank to get the warrant in motion, but our national security didn’t move them at all.

Why does the liberal media have the long knives out for Hillary? TIME says that Weaki founder Ass-ange said the dump was heavily redacted by his organization and the media working with them...

I wonder when they catch this guy if he will have a ‘military’ trial... Is there not some law suit moving its way in court, personally holding John Ashcroft accountable for something he did?

"Why does the liberal media have the long knives out for Hillary? "

I don't know. It's a little mysterious. Maybe they've come to the collective conclusion that someone has to take the fall to protect Obama, so it might as well be her.

"TIME says that Weaki founder Ass-ange said the dump was heavily redacted by his organization and the media working with them..."

From what I understand, some names were redacted and Assange tried to portray this as him wanting to protect the lives of people mentioned in those documents. The problem is that just because a name is blacked-out, it doesn't keep people from putting 2+2 together pretty quickly. Blacked-out or not, they're still in danger.

"I wonder when they catch this guy if he will have a ‘military’ trial... "

The law is complicated in this regard. It's highly unlikely he'd face a military commission, and it's far from a certainty that he would be tried at all. This is due mostly to cases that sprung from the release of the Pentagon Papers almost 40-years ago. Prosecution is going to be an uphill battle.

"Is there not some law suit moving its way in court, personally holding John Ashcroft accountable for something he did?

You're probably referring to Abdullah al-Kidd v. John Ashcroft, et al.. It's an suit that has already been litigated for years. The nutty 9th held last year that it could move forward to trial, but Ashcroft has appealed that ruling. It will be years before this is resolved.

Orders from Clinton US Diplomats Told to Spy on Other Countries at United Nations
SPIEGEL ONLINE ^

This article claims there is a ‘directive’ signed by Hillary Clinton.... but Assange says IF “if it can be shown that she was responsible for ordering U.S. diplomatic figures to engage in espionage in the United Nations, in violation of the international covenants to which the U.S. has signed up.”

Assange or somebody acts like they are playing cat and mouse with Hillary... do they have the so called ‘signed’ directive or is some one calling her bluff?

It is rather strange that it seems as though the whole left world is closing in on Hillary... I, now have NO sympathy for the gal who believed that Richard Nixon should not have legal representation when she was helping the House write up Articles of Impeachment on President Nixon. I firmly believe what goes around comes around....

Now again there is no way to safely hedge a bet on Hillary, as I can think of no other modern woman that when scorned does not get her pound of flesh.

These liberals have for years said the way to fight terrorist is in a court room, and they attempted to set up their ‘world court’. Yet why on earth would these liberals want Assange tried in an American court, imagine the discovery would be enough to stop a few liberal hearts.

While it may well take years for the Ashcroft trial to be resolved, the precedence now is that a government official can be held to account personally for actions taken while in office... Right???

Old Bill has been amazingly quite over these past few days, yet he always had something to say when the media was holding President Bush over hot coals.
