John Conyers's Sons Photos
plixi.com ^ | John Conyers, III

Posted on 11/30/2010 2:51:12 PM PST by WaterBoard

Some very interesting photos posted by Detroit Congressman John Conyer's twenty year old son on his plixi photo upload site.

I wonder how the minor son of Rep Conyers photographed himself with a bottle of Moet in a tax payer funded 2010 Cadillac Escalade while in the drivers seat with vehicle turned on? Hmmm... How did he get the key?

Conyers states he was unaware that his son was using the vehicle when it was robbed this week, but what about this past June as well when the photo below was uploaded?

U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Detroit, said he didn't know his son, John III, was driving his government-provided Cadillac Escalade last week when someone broke into it and stole two computers and $27,000 worth of concert tickets.

"I have just learned about the inappropriate use of a congressional vehicle by my son over the Thanksgiving holiday," Conyers said today in a statement. "I am sorry it happened and will make sure that it does not happen again. I will review the full circumstances of the use of this vehicle and make restitution to the Treasury for any non-official use."

Image Caption from Conyers: "Is it too early to pop a bottle?"

Image Caption from Conyers: "I Enjoy Mimosa's"

Image Caption from Conyers: "My Baby, Segura Vivdas I party with Armand De Brignac too. #OnDeck."

Isn't the drinking age 21 still in Michigan or is just Rep Conyer's family gets a pass?

The bottle is unopened.

How do you know the engine is on? Even if it is, it’s not illegal to have an unopened bottle in a car, even if you’re under age, at least if there’s a legal-aged person also in the car. (State laws might vary on this.)

Oh you big Silly

Laws for for litle people, like us. The laws that govern us little folk, don’t apply to our superiors. They are better than us, and don’t need laws to govern them. This comes when you are an Elite. Heck, did you know that if you are an Elite, you can murder a pregnant girlfriend, dump her body in a car off a bridge, and go party all night long .... and STILL not only hold an office in Congress, but also run for President?

Yeah, really. It’s good to be an Elite.

“US Rep. Conyers: Son inappropriately used vehicle”

What about possession of alcohol by a minor charges?

Could you imagine the furor if Sarah Palin’s minor children used government registered vehicles with alcohol?

This will probably be the only mention of this anywhere.

Look at the dashboard in the photograph. The digital display is on.

It is against the law for Minor In Possession of alcohol in Michigan especially when operating a motor vehicle.

How do you know the engine is on?

You can see - clearly enough - that the tachometer needle is certainly not in the "0" RPM position by the angle...the actual position is obscured by the cropping of the image. I would guess that it is somewhere between 1000 and 1500 RPM, which would probably be idling speed.

It is the indicator to the far left.

Judging by the speedometer, the vehicle was not in motion in the first photograph. However, other lights on the dash indicate that the key was in the ignition (possibly in the “acc” position).

This I’d like to see:

“Your Honor, the prosecution will prove that it is the minor defendant’s hand holding a bottle of alcoholic beverage in a vehicle with no adult supervision.”

one of those rare "missing the point" pings:

Not only is the engine on, it appears to be in Drive. Here is another image of an Escalade and you can see right above the trip computer is the gear indicator. Notice where the red indicator is on Conyer's photo and compare to this.

Conyers may be an @hole, but I’m not seeing much to make a fuss about this time. The bottle is still sealed, and the speedometer shows 0. Democrats and their miserable progeny do plenty of revolting stuff, but this doesn’t appear to be one of them.
