I agree. It’s extremely telling, and probably not surprising to anyone in Netanyahu’s inner circle. This approach by Obama has the stench of Brzezinski all over it. Obama and Brzezinski share the both view Israel as the aggressor. I wonder if this will change Israel’s policy in striking Iran? I think it definitely shows that if they want to strike before 2012 that they will be forced to go-it-alone.

What I wouldn’t give to see a Wikileaks - Saudi Arabia version. I want to see what they have to say even more than China and Russia.

Yep, after reading all of your links, I wonder if Obama is distressed at all about the leaks and his people might even the source of some of the disclosures. It is also notable how totally ineffective the Administration has been in stopping Wikileaks. Maybe they aren't trying.

I have a CT that bama loves this since:

1. Creates chaos
2. Takes Hillary out for 2012
3. Takes him off the hook for attacking Iran.
4. Allows him to get info out against the Pentagon he cant reveal himself.

5. Allows him to throw his hands up in the air and disclaim responsibility for anything.

It is clear that BO is the primary source of WikiLeaks.

Is it any surprise that someone named Barack Hussein Obama could have a problem with Israel?

And just yesterday everyone on this forum was wanting to HANG the founder of wikileaks. Look at the service he is providing, opening up all the lies and deceptions we have been suspecting.

Thanks GlockThe Vote.
[David Horovitz] Obama, we now know, had the diplomatic cables to prove that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was no obstacle to wide Arab backing for the toughest possible measures against Iran... it had been Netanyahu's hope that he would persuade Obama of the imperative to halt the Iranian nuclear drive "as a precondition for encouraging Arab moderation and thus enabling progress with the Palestinians, and on this he failed." Instead, I pointed out, "Obama insistently placed tackling the Palestinian issue -- which has defeated even the most generous and flexible Israeli governments -- on the road to fixing Iran." While Israel had argued internationally that stopping Iran would enable headway with the Palestinians, and other foreign heads of state, senior ministers and diplomats had politely suggested it was best to try to chivvy both processes along simultaneously, Obama, I observed, "has gone all the way over to the other side, and done so in public."

I think he is too. I imagine the really damaging info on him will never see the light of day, unless Hillary makes sure he gets his fair share too.

I was initially very strongly against these leaks. I suppose my mistake was in giving the current regime the benefit of the doubt by thinking that they revealed inside matters pertaining to legitimate diplomacy. Such would have put us at risk as a country and I didn't want to see that.

Instead, what we find is that the 0 administration, for all its talk of bringing transparency to Washington, has not only been using state secrets to wall itself off from the citizenry but also has been colluding with our enemies. We learn little tidbits such as Secretary of State Clinton ordering our diplomats to operate as spies, gathering biometric information on foreign officials.

These leaks seem to be for the better. As conservatives, we naturally oppose an unduly powerful federal government. What, then, is to be said for a government who bolsters its powers by hiding behind state secrets in order to avoid accountability to its people?

It is telling that, in light of the leak, Sen. Lieberman has successfully pressured Amazon to pull WikiLeaks (it is now hosted in Sweden). That is on par with the type of news suppression you find in countries like China and Saudi Arabia.

At the end of the day, this stuff hurts Democrats and Republicans (along with the special interests which ultimately pull their strings) far more than it harms our country and that is why they are making such a big stink about it. If we the citizenry of this country call all of these idiots to task and start making our discontent with the illegal crap routinely carried out in our names, other countries might once again come to respect us.

I can't say that I necessarily trust WikiLeaks on the whole but I do believe that it is important to address the message rather than shoot the messenger. We are never to hide from the Truth because the Truth is the greatest ally we have. The Truth is that we have a criminal government that no longer believes it ought to be accountable to its people and which believes it has the right to treat us as mushrooms by keeping us in the dark while feeding us b***s***.

The responsibility to call it to account lies with us. We can only exercise that responsibility when we have the information we need to make proper judgements.

Great post. I for one am appreciative of these leaks as they are exposing the LIES of the govt.

Secrets should not be used to cover up govt lies and bs they feed to us.

Secrets are justified to keep troop movements and other matters like that secret, but not intention lies to te public.

Seeing so many on this sight attack the messenger is stupid IMHO. I can only imagine what else is about to come out.
