Bristol Palin, Keith Olbermann Trade Barbs
CBS News ^ | December 3, 2010

Posted on 12/03/2010 2:29:37 PM PST by Pinkbell

(AP) Bristol Palin is striking back against MSNBC host Keith Olbermann for dubbing her "worst person in the world."

Olbermann gave her the title on his show earlier this week, casting her as a hypocrite for appearing in a public service announcement promoting abstinence and safe sex. Palin was an unmarried teenager when she had her son, Tripp.

He likened her being an abstinence spokeswoman to saying former President George W. Bush "kept us safe, 'cept for that 9-11 thing, which doesn't count."

The 20-year-old "Dancing With the Stars" diva and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin defended herself on Facebook Thursday. She said calling her a hypocrite is an "old canard." And she said that what Olbermann lacks in originality he makes up for with "insincere incredulity."

"Palin does not attract rinos, she repels them, you seem to have missed that over the last two years somehow."

She talks tough but hasn't addressed some pretty important issues. Only a RINO could love that. Only a RINO would be fooled by that, after seeing the damage Bush and McCain have done to the GOP.

"You know that Colin, Condi, and the Bushes are trying to stop Palin, and are rigidly aligned with Rove, Romney, Noonan, and that entire side of the GOP, the division between the Romney/Rockefeller crowd, and the Reagan/Palin/tea party crowd is the very war that we are in yet you pretend that their fans are the fans of Palin, what is that about?"

Sure, and there's a big war between Huckabee and McCain and Romney, because they're all so different. /sarc I can't help but suspect this 'division' is contrived to keep the focus on style instead of substance, because I have yet to hear where they disagree. Instead, I hear a bunch of stupid, pointless, typical diversionary attacks from both sides.

"Is this some of that goofy Ron Paul nuttiness?"

If it's nutty to love your country and want a president who will REALLY defend the documents it was founded upon, I guess that must be it, RINO.

Yeah, I didn’t realize that you were one of those guys.

Too bad that career politician Ron Paul has never been able to escape that safe little district in Texas, he couldn’t be a Governor or a Senator, because like any of the weirdos such as Charlie Rangel, or Ron Dellums, or whoever, they can only seek celebrity and fortune from their safe little districts.

“You started with the insults in post 93, so quit the childish crying.”

ROFLMAO—yeah, I came out with the first insults, if we ignore your reasoned commentary about me being a LIEbertarian in the post I replied to.

“Being a loseatarian, she will never answer the questions good enough for you.”

Actually, I’d be very happy to settle for her answering those questions. Hearing how she’d deal with just the first question would give me a good idea of where she really stands on federalism, whether she’s a Thomas or Scalia fan. But I know RINOs like you don’t like the idea of anyone asking questions because your primary goal is power, not restoration of limited government and the written Constitution as the highest law in the land. Sorry to intrude on your worship of the holy cow, smoker.

Oooh, more witty repartee from the RINO gallery. Please, don’t talk with your mouth full, smoker.

Oh, right, this is where I’m supposed to go, “Waaah, you hurt Ron Paul, I’m gonna tell!” Because you’d rather distract than address my concerns that Palin hasn’t really tackled some very important issues (just like your heroes McCain and Bush, who came down on the RINO side, just like you wanted). And of course you’d rather whine about anything but my point that the Rove/Bushie/McQueeg vs. Palin “fight” hasn’t really shown well where they strongly disagree on anything.

Oh it will now only take 3 of your questions being answered for you to be fully informed about her?

LOL

Like I said you LIEbertarians are so amusing!

Oh, I guess you missed the point. I bet that doesn’t happen a lot to a smoker like you. But here it is again: if she answered even one question I’d posed above, it’d be better than taking on faith that she’s a conservative. Taking on faith someone who’s a Republican is a conservative hasn’t worked out well.

No there is no use to waste time on a guy that doesn’t really do politics, but instead worships at the altar of celebrity.

Ron Paul couldn’t rise above being only a congressman in electoral politics, but he sure knows how to capitalize on celebrity and live well as a perennial candidate.

So who should have Republicans voted for AL Gore or Obama?

ZZZZZZZ...sorry, did you say something? Because I could have SWORN you said something. Maybe you were droning on about Ron Paul again. That sort of diversionary droning of yours tends to make me a little drowsy because it’s so boring and irrelevant to the points I made above, that

1) Sarah Palin hasn’t made a solid statement of her views about myriad important SCOTUS decisions that have made a mockery of federalism and the Constitution and

2) anyone ignoring 1) has to be a RINO, given the history and preponderance of GOP candidates who fail to address substantive issues turning out to be RINOs.

So it is you who gets to decide if she is a "conservative". And you can't decide it unless she answers your questions.

LOL!

How amusing it is pulling your loseatarian tail! LOL

“So who should have Republicans voted for AL Gore or Obama?”

I notice you don’t deny that McQueeg and Bush were RINOs. No surprise that you don’t deny they voted like RINOs just like you wanted, either.

To answer your question, though, CONSERVATIVES should vote for CONSERVATIVES. That would NOT have been Gore or Obama in either race. Wasting a vote on a third party conservative is better than wasting a vote on any counterproductive fake conservative who’d make the party of Reagan look like unprincipled political hacks.

As opposed to you, on your knees and drooling at the mention of just the word "conservative," like any good RINO.

"How amusing it is pulling your loseatarian tail! LOL"

Not much of a surprise to see you enjoy fooling around with someone's tail, smoker.

I made no error in the post.

Your loseatarians Browne, Badnarik, and Barr never had a chance. So it seems it is not the Republicans with electability issues it is the candidates you support. Keep bashing the Republicans it just shows how inept you and the rest of the loseatarians are.

Oh, I guess I’m supposed to feel bad now? Because big “L” libertarian candidates lost? I guess I’ll never get over your incredible debating skill. Or your ability to ignore reality: I’m not bashing Republicans. Just RINOs like you who would rather we take on faith that Palin is a conservative because Rove et. al. are “fighting her,” that them saying “she’s bad” proves somehow she’s good. There’s nothing in her resume that proves her bona fides as a Constitutionalist conservative. What, she’s fired a gun? She came from Alaska and had kids? John Kerry shot a gun once. Sandra Day O’Connor comes from Arizona and had kids. So? Maybe if you weren’t so good at smoking sausage you wouldn’t be so eager to swallow and then regurgitate the RINO line.
