Barring a steep drop in crude prices, U.S. motorists can expect to see gas prices exceeding $3 per gallon, if they are not seeing such prices already, according to a new survey of filling stations.

The latest Lundberg Survey of cities in the continental United States was conducted Friday. It showed the national average price for a gallon of self-serve unleaded gasoline at $2.91, an increase of 3.9 cents from the last survey two weeks earlier, survey publisher Trilby Lundberg said.

Last Friday morning went to meeting with client. Running late and had enough gas so decided to wait until I returned to fill up. Big mistake. Three hours later it was $2.75.

So far the fall of the dollar has been moderated because the euro has fallen more. This has caused crude oil prices to not rise as fast as otherwise. Much worse is yet to come I fear as the dollar collapse continues and dumbo, frodo and bernyakme continue to print money.

Saudi Aramco, the oil company of Saudi Arabia can get a barrel of oil out of the ground and on a ship for $2 a barrel.

Remember that the next time you look at the commodity price. Oil should NOT be on the commodities market, it is a matter of national security.

The dictator seems to be planning a lifetime term is my guess. And the blind of the left need to wake up.

$3.05 per gallon at my local station in the Boston area. Of course, with my Stop & Shop card, it was $.20 a gallon cheaper.

First thing I thought when the “high gas prices” story came out...B.O. stops drilling. Brain damage.

Skyrocketing energy prices are necessarily part of Obama’s plan....

Yet prices are still below what they were under W.

The obamanation administration needs to raise gas prices so people will be forced to buy expensive obamamotor’s tuna cans with wheels cars. He would run the prices up to 10 dollars a gallon today if he could; the man is Hugo Chavez and is working to destroy the people every day.

“the single biggest factor in U.S. oil prices has been the value of the U.S. dollar relative to other major currencies.”

Don’t disagree.

But this country has the power to mitigate at least somewhat by offshore drilling and prioritizing the drilling and usage of our natural gas industry(which is what every other country on the face of the earth would do for wealth and jobs creation).

Instead, we get bogus schemes like ethanol and windfarming that will NEVER do anything but make a few libs feel happy and pad the pockets of ADM and GE.
