He started talking, sounded like a third grader who was a poor reader (and petulant to boot) and I hit mute. I just cannot listen to him. The whistling “s” sound really bugs me too.
Give Fidel a hug. Hate when they are sick. At the moment all of my doggies are young, but it cycles, and then we go thru that again. Wish they all lived longer. Maybe I should get parrots.

IMHO it was the most jaw-dropping Presidential press conference I can ever remember.

Yeah, I thought it would be about $500 a day. But, no, $1,000 a day with the oxygen chamber. He is a little white chihuahua. They brought him out with an arm band and tubes running from him.

I said, “Keep him”.

I didn’t see him attacking his base in that video as suggested but he’s right. He wasn’t going to win in the Senate so rolling over now is the smart thing to do but probably not the reason you’re thinking. Some Republican Senators had put any discussion of any other legislation on hold until this was passed. Now that the Bush tax cuts are off the table the Dems will be able to move forward with their lameduck agenda.

Obama is simply not the master of the English language that they claim.

So he could not pronounce “superfluous”. He blamed it on his lip. But he could still speak ... just not that word that he did not know how to pronounce.

He is a total fake!

Well, and his reading is not fluid. He reads like my students who could read words but didn’t really understand what they were reading.

I watched the local NBC news affiliate covering his tax speach today. He ended his comments, turned and walked out. The press started laughing (behind his back). Don't know or what was said to make them all start laughing but it was within seconds of him turning the corner leaving the room. It started out as some audible laughs then got louder and louder as more joined in then they cut away. I know he heard them laughing behind him as he left! You know he thinks everything is about him. Hey Barry, we won, deal with it.
