Sarah Palin: Tax Deal "Lousy," but Grateful for Obama's "Flip Flop"(VIDEO, TOO)

In a rare interview with ABC's "Good Morning America," former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on Friday criticized the $858 billion tax cut bill that passed through Congress early this morning, calling the legislation "a lousy deal" that "creates a temporary economy with even more uncertainty for businesses and it does increase taxes."

"I think it's a lousy deal and we can do better for the American people," Palin told GMA's Robin Roberts, in an interview in her Alaska home.

The "new Congress is seated the first week of January," Palin continued. "It is better to wait until they are seated and get a good deal for the American public than to accept what I think is a lousy deal, because it creates a temporary economy with even more uncertainty for businesses and it does increase taxes."

Unfortunately, it passed last night, so it’s too late not to “wait for a better deal”.

Now we have to work for the next two years to counter the republican argument that we couldn’t afford to raise rich people’s taxes “in a recession”, and get back to the “taxes are just too high” message.

Because in 2 years, there won’t be a recession, so we are going to need the right argument.

How so? Do you mean by framing the questions with a negative? Robin was seated higher, and Sarah was wearing power red, but I did notice the camera angle.

I saw a portion of the interview on television this morning, and Robin Roberts being completely indignant at someone accusing Zero of flip-flopping. She could barely contain her anger and it showed when she formulated her response (one could barely call what she said a “question.”)

Indeed. It was quite obvious that Robin likes the Marxist. She was insistent that he compromised, even though everyone, including the idiot democrats knew that he really didn’t have a choice..LOL. They’re still fuming about all the Bush tax cuts to the small business owners even though the democrats got to rip off over 1/3 of the estates the dead.

Obama's change was huge. It wasn't a slow change in a minor idea, it was one of his major campaign themes for over two years. It was going from saying these tax cuts ruined America to thes tax cuts are necessary to save our economy.

I don't think there is anything to worry about calling that change a flip flop.

There’s still too much uncertainty for small business to grow and to reinvest, not to mention obamacare hanging over them.

Taxes are too high -— corporate taxes for sure -— and you know that deocrats hate corporations.

Then there’s still Government Motors, the government public employee unions, serious over-spending, entitlement programs in unconstitutional government agencies and departments, and the list goes on.

A clear message is definitely needed and I have faith that Sarah Palin will deliver that message.

Robin Roberts is the personification of affirmative action. This woman is very, very ignorant.

I noticed in the first few seconds of the sitdown interview, the interviewer looked bigger, closer to camera, while Palin looked smaller.

Right. The same camera angle used in the Gibbons interview.

And Bill Clinton agrees with Sarah Palin:

Distortions of the truth like that make your protestations that you Don't Hate Sarah, and you Don't Love Sarah, but just hate how Sarah supporters attack so-called Sarah heretics a bunch of hooey.

You are slandering Republicans for some thing you and your liberal media imagine might happen in the future. LOL.Actually the new Republian house will at worst create gridlock.

Here's a clue: It's democrats who have absolute power now and it is democrats/socialists who are creating and pushing all these socialist and Amnesty bills.

I would understand the unfair critique of Republicans if Republicans had 60% of the House and Senate and a conservative Republican President But this has never happened and in January the Republicans will just have a majority in the house and the democrats will control the Senate and Presidency and the media.

This Dream act must be stopped. And then all illegals must be deported .If this is not done then the U.S. is done and there will never be another conservative elected ever in the U.S.

God Bless Republican Scott Brown and Republicans if they do manage to stop the Dream act on Saturday night. The Republicans will be there to meet the enemy on Saturday for the final battle , then when everyone else including Lady Rush,Drudge, the GOP bashers here, everyone else is partying it up or concentrating on other things.

I understand your frustration, but, while it might feel good to “put them out on their rearend,” you will leave the Dems in charge.

Again.

Not smart, but smart politics isn’t always the way conservatives play. We seem to have skipped the “something is better than nothing” kindergarten math.

The right won’t be back in power till we start thinking (and plotting) with our brains instead of our emotions.

"Or as Mr. Clinton once famously said, “You gotta do what you gotta do."

Bill Clinton? President Clinton once famously said "You gotta do what you gotta do."?

Seriously? I know he famously said, "I all depends on what is, is." and "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.".... But "You gotta do what you gotta do."? Really?

Roberts got in her usual digs, but on the whole, I think she was less snarky and more respectful than I expected.

Guess Sarah is gaining a little respect.

Also, she is much better at handling these people now, plus she’s not constrained by being a veep candidate with McCain and having to follow his rules.

I liked it. ACtually, the remark was directed toward Robin who called it compromise and she said, “you call it compromise, I call it flip flop.”

Why should she regret stating an obvious truth?

What gripes me is that those Republicans who stayed home in a ‘fit of snit’ as you put it so well, are still proud of themselves.

They feel quite sanctimonious about staying true to something or another.

While a McCain presidency would have been tepid, the enormous harm that Obama has managed to do in two years will take a decade to undo and can only be done if we stay committed and zealous.

Huckabee is a fake, pro-Amnesty for illegals, criminal pardoning, liberal, socialist from Arkansas. That this cretin Huckabee, fools so many is a testament to the evil liberal mainstream media's power to deceive all.

Huckabee lying now .What Huckabee says is the opposite of what it did as governor. So that proves it is also lying about his belief in God and that God told him to give Amnesty to all illegals : sound familiar? Does the name Muhammad the prophet of Islam ring a bell?
