If you try to deduce laws from nature would your ‘natural law’
include the Judeo/Christian “thou shalt not kill”

For the record, the common interpretation of this command is
“Thou shalt not Murder” or unlawful killing
killing in self defense is permitted, for example,
under the Ten Commandments
Defensive Acts of War are permitted
The Death Penalty is permitted under some interpretations as
a defensive act of society

Yes, I agree. It is properly “Thou shall not murder”, but most Christians of all eras would still interpret everyday Viking behavior as violating that commandment, which was my point.
