I have no intention of being “anti-intellectual,” and anyone who is proud of being so is part of our problem.
How dare anyone say that you have to be a dimbulb to be a “true” conservative.

You seem to be under the impression that intellectuals are smart. Basically they went to the right schools and knew the right people to get into the inside track of politics. That doesn't mean they are the most intelligent. They are under the illusion that they are the best and brightest and therefore should rule our lives.
I'll trade you a pound of intellectual for a gram of common sense. I will have gotten the better deal.

Obviously you haven’t read Sowell’s “Intellectuals and Society”, and you must have just cursorily read my post.
There is nothing “dimbulb” about rejecting the “right and duty” of self proclaimed elitists to make our decisions for us.
You accept the left’s “framing” and argue based on their terms.
