Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said that the Tea Party needs to commit to being problem-solvers in the new Congress.

On "Face the Nation," Graham was asked about the prospects for bipartisanship come January.

"The House is in revolt," he said of the difficulty of extending the Bush-era tax cuts. "People are pissed off in the House at the estate tax. That's going to carry over a bit."

Unlike you, Lindsey, that’s been part of the problem creation industry.

The Tea Party will identify the problems and then solve the problems by voting them out. You hear that, Linda?

From the Tea Party to that little pussy:

Recipe- Shrink Government & lower taxes. Then get out of the way. You are not needed at all Lindsey.

Being “problem-solvers” is what got us into this mess to begin with. We need to stop being “problem-solvers” and start cutting wasteful government spending. ie: DHS, EPA, NEA, FCC, FEC, HHS,...I could go on and on.

It is pretty simple. Just do the opposite of what Graham has been doing.

I am putting money away now from every paycheck to have sizable amounts to donate to primary challengers to RINOs like Grahmnesty and Stabenow (from my state). I understand Grahmnesty’s up in 2012.

As far as I can tell, the Tea Partiers were effective problem solvers after only a few minutes in the voting booth. What more does Graham want?

Lindsey reveals that he’s not part of the Tea Party rebellion in the way he consistently refers to the movement in the third party.

No surprise, really, and a good thing, in my opinion. He won’t be able to glom on to the Tea Party later, as he sees his political future disintegrating.

This a$$ dares to suggest that the Tea Party better make things happen? this lousey sold-out-soul called Lindsey has a pair, I’ll give him that. I just wish he would use it for real leadership and not RINOism.

Exactly. And the more time available to pick a good challenger, the better.

Mr. Graham doesn’t get it. He works for us. We don’t work for him and the government overloads.

You are not needed at all Lindsey.

Too true.

As an aside, what really frosts my pumpkin is when anyone in any media outlets refers to people like Graham and any of his colleagues as "our leaders".
They are NOT leaders. They are elected officials who are our servants!
Yet when elected they are treated as, and act as if, they are some sort of elite, royal, ruling class.

This is why the electoral system is so very important to the life of this nation. Too bad it's been corrupted and bastardized to a point where it cannot function to complete its intended purpose.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled thread topic.

It’s called a limited government for a reason.

The headline contains the seed of the real problem—problem solvers.

The federal government wasn’t instituted to solve every problem, and neither were the state govrenments. We instituted a limited government for a reason.

There are some problems in the world that are outside the government’s pervue (most of them, as a matter of fact).

There are some problems that are reserved to the people to solve.

Spot ON! Some learned in November, and others will during the next 2 years. We the People intend to take our country back....they can get on the train and help or simply get run over, makes little difference to me.
