TSA Investigates Pilot Who Exposed Security Flaws [govt revenge - feel safer now?]

"The TSA is investigating a TSA deputized pilot who posted videos to YouTube pointing out security flaws. Flaws exposed include ground crew clearing security with just a card swipe while pilots have to go through metal detectors, and a 'medieval-looking rescue ax' being available on the flight deck. Three days after posting the video, 6 government officials arrived at his door to question him and confiscated his federal firearm (and his concealed weapon permit)."

Fear your government. When things start going badly for Zero’s administration, people who disagree will be threatened and worse.

Agreed. We can’t do anything about 250,000 classified documents being released but a day after a couple embarrassing videos are posted we’re all over it! Kind of tells us what the real priorities are, doesn’t it.

We can now expect this to be Napolitano’s response to any weaknesses reflected in the “see something, say something” campaign.

This is a trite post BUT these guys are beginning to scare the hell out of me. Congress does not perform its duties (budget), we learn cronyism is prevalent, contracts are broken (GM), bullying goes on. Where are the progressives who profess to care about these issues? Where are we going?

My whole family, including myself now retired, have worked for the airlines, and know the security system well. The pilot in trouble with TSA is exactly right, and believe it folks, something will happen, sooner rather than later because all the security, used today, hits all the wrong spots...grandma, babies, baby bottles, moms with kids, on and on...Israel is the only country in the world who does it right, and RIGHT takes time.

I sent this to ALPA (Airline Pilots Association) for their comments. The Union has been moving leftward at lightning speed over the past few years and I am afraid they will side with Napalitano on this on. We will see.

” a deputy sheriff asked him to surrender his state-issued permit to carry a concealed weapon.”

FU sheriff, you have no legal basis for such a request!

As a matter of fact, I didn’t see any mention of a warrant at all!

I also have spent the better part of my life working for the Airlines at 4 different Airports and I can honestly say, security is a farce. I totally agree with the Pilot but I would not have given up my ccw without a warrant to do so because he did nothing wrong.

The government has a lot of power. It has the power to take all your possessions, money and property. It has the power to lock you up. It has the power to beat you up. It has the power to destroy your reputation.

The government is accountable to no one. It used to be accountable to the people, but that’s not true any more. The people are busy watching 2 1/2 men.

This pilot is a national hero. As a captain for a major airline, I can say authoritatively that every airline employee knows the truth of what this pilot was saying. The terrorists have always known also. The only people in the dark are the American sheeple who think Nazipolitano is keeping them safe.

You are exactly right. Plus, this pilot was merely pointing out what anyone can plainly see walking through any terminal so it's not like he is exposing TSA secrets.

This is pure government harassment. From a former AA Ramp Service Supervisor LAX.
