Obama to Extend Hawaiian Vacation

HONOLULU--President Barack Obama won't be returning to Washington until Jan. 4, extending his Hawaiian vacation by about a day after it was delayed by a busy lame-duck Congressional session.

"After the extended lame duck and five-day delay of his trip here, he's just trying to squeeze in more time with his family before returning to Washington," Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton said Wednesday.

Mr. Obama is vacationing in Kailua, Hawaii, and has spent much of his free time working out, playing basketball, snorkeling, spending time with family, and swinging golf clubs.

It's not that Obama doesn't care. It's that the Media doesn't care, or chooses to ignore anything that would damage their Messiah.

$3.00 (plus) for a gallon of gas? If Bush was President, that would be a big issue. The President Golfing while our young Soldiers are being killed in Afghanistan at the fastest pace in years? Ditto.

Let's see, Obama extends the dreaded Patriot Act, the Obama Administration is snooping on Emails without a Warrant, the Democrat Congress doesn't pass a Budget for the first time in 35 years, the Deficit is almost half of total Government expenditures, long term Unemployment near 10% a new record, the Democrat Controlled “Lame Duck” Congress passes outlandish Legislation that they would never get through the new Congress, the list is endless.

Obama doesn't need to care. They have his back.
