I know you’d like the USA to be an arm of the Roman Catholic Church, but you won’t get my vote there.
Ridiculous. I’m not Catholic.
My bad, I got you mixed up with mlizzy.
OK you don’t have any sectarian axe to grind, fine.
Still, is Sarah Palin truly asking for anything worse than status quo ante Roe? Like an actual “state choice to abortion” amendment (I don’t think so). Nothing in backing out the fictitious federal right to privacy precludes a positive right to life offensive in the future. In the meantime, you cannot have missed how “pro-choice” organizations are bitching and moaning NOW about how many abortions can’t happen just because they’re inconvenient? Simply taking away the ease of the act would do a lot towards stanching its social acceptability.
I for one won’t rest until I’m dead or until abortion is completely banned.
And the only way we can ever hope to get there is to stand for principle in every single instance without compromise.
After all, the raison d’etre of government, all human government, is to protect the God-given, unalienable right to life, in the same way that if you surrender the cornerstone you’ve given up the building.
The primary support of the whole gone.
But, first I want to thank you for methodically keeping us all updated as to your progress! The staggering series of miracles that have marked your recovery is something we all draw enormous inspiration from.
I'll be keeping you in my daily prayers, friend. Keep up the good work and may God's blessings continue to be with you in the coming year.
Enrique
Take care and God bless you!
Enrique
When the government rests upon Jesus Christ’s shoulders, then you will have your “stand for principle in every single instance without compromise” all righty.
It also won’t need your vote to happen.
So you have resigned yourself to irrelevancy.
Happy New Year, JH2 and Jeff. Nothing would please me more than to see Sarah Palin on my ballot.

OOPS! Appears I was stuttering again.
You can say that again! :)
I seriously doubt that His view of what is “relevant” is quite the same as those whose very short-sighted guide is perceived political expediency.
Or that He thinks much of excuse-making for our dereliction of duty to fulfill the oaths we’ve made to “establish justice, “provide for the common defense,” and to “secure the blessings of liberty to posterity.”
By the way, you completely twisted what I said.
That would seem to sum it up.
Perhaps the media will find a repub candidate they like...like McCain...or Romney.
You could support them.
Or...You could , instead of dealing with Palin’s negatives, just like many other candidates have megatives...you could just scream about how “ WONDERFUL PALIN IS, YOU IDIOTS, DON’T YOU SEE?”...
Now THAT would certainly help those of us who have doubts about her electability to change our minds immediately.
You may be a fan of Palin, but let me tell you, while many conservatives I talk with really really like her, they also are doubtful if she can be elected..and yes, leaving the governorship is a biggie with them.
My dear FRiend, and my dear friend...
Happy New Year, and may God bless you, too!
I wish you a year of good health and much happiness, plus mucho prosperity, and many, many more well thought out, inspirational...and totally fall outta my chair laughing funny...threads. ;o)
((((((((((MEGAhugs))))))))))
Jeff Head MEGA BUMP!
Thank you, O’ King of Pings! ;o)
I hope you are doing well, JH, and hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas season!
