Another epic-level RINO turdpile.
Who the heck is Huntsman? The only lever, well now “ballot I must mark here in NY) I’m pulling for is Sarah.
I don’t recall ever seeing the phrase, “moderate DemocRAT” being used by the state run “media”. I guess they don’t have any of those.
Mr. Open Borders
Who?
Yeah, an unknown Republican billionaire moderate; thats the ticket. I’m sure he’ll develop a huge following.
Dems propping up people the can beat easily...
Well, obviously this qualifies him to run for the highest office imaginable. In the eyes of Newsweak.
I, too, never heard of this guy. But obviously "moderate Republican" is duckspeak for "screaming leftist." Why would Glenn Beck support a jerk like that? Or does he owe him from past favors?
Hell NO!!!
This is Newsweak folks. A propaganda “pamphlet” that masquerades as a “News Magazine”. Really nothing to see here folks don’t waste you time truly “move on”.
This guy has that Presidential look.....Therefor he could whip the Kenyan without breaking a sweat. Huntsman looks like an illegal alien amnesty kind of guy.
The son of a Utah billionaire.
Governor of Utah, and then appointed by Obama to be ambassador to China.
RINO. Won’t get a sniff from the conservative base.
From the article:The establishment still doesn't get it. They think that the TEA Parties are a fad and that we'll go back to sleep now that we've "won" this round.
But an increasingly vocal segment of the GOP is worried that the conservative populism of 2010 is distracting the party from its more pressing priorities. We may be confusing a clearing in the forest for being out of the woods, says Republican strategist John Weaver, who notes young voters disapproval of some of the partys social agenda. There is a ticking demographic time bomb working against us, and if we dont correct that problem very soon, we could wind up back where we were four years ago. What the party needs now, argue supporters like Weaver, is a leader who can negotiate a treaty of sorts between the right-wing base and forward-thinking moderates. The GOP, in other words, needs an ambassador.
What the party needs now is to realize that the reason they lost in 2006 and 2008 is because they spent 6 years trying to be liberals. They spent like drunken sailors. Actually, they spent like Democrats. Drunken sailors only waste their own money. They couldn't find enough fiscal restraint to make permanent changes to the tax code.
The Bush tax hikes that we just narrowly averted (by delaying them for the next lame duck Congress) were the result of Progressive Republican spending started under George W. Bush. Spending that most of the "leadership" in the Republican party voted for, supported and will likely continue in spite of the TEA party victories this year.
TEA Parties need to get into the Republican party structure and drag the party back to some strong conservative principles. If that doesn't work, there's always the possibility of a third party forming. I don't think that would be a good thing, but these "Republican Strategists" need to realize, if they push the TEA Partiers into a third party, it's the Republicans that will lose big.
People like this "Strategist," John Weaver will destroy the Republican party and quicken the fall of these United States.
“... impeccable posture...”
And how was the crease in his pants, McKay?
Here’s an old thread on Huntsman.
Huntsman strategist: If Palin and Limbaugh dominate, GOP ‘headed for a blowout’ in 2012

Is this guy any relation to the billionaire John Huntsman who is a frequent guest on the Glenn Beck show?
The guy is royally "we-wee-weeeed up"...

I just love that phrase "ticking demographic time bomb". I'm old enough to remember that was the thinking back there in 1964.
Designated loser for the Republican Party.
Great, another worthless RINO.
