I can remember being near Stuttgart, AR (major rice production area), back in the 1990s during winter when it seemed to rain game birds. Seems there was a very violent thunderstorm coupled with rice fields where the migratory birds flew over and fed. Long story short, there were thousands of dead birds in the rice fields. Not so unusual.

You are correct. Birds falling out of the sky is not all that unusual.

Now.... frogs falling out of the sky is another matter.

And as impossible as that may seem, it also happens.

I used to hunt that area every year in the 90’s and don’t ever recall hearing about that happening to ducks & geese.

Stuttgart-Brinkley-Forrest City Arkansas is arguably the best waterfowl hunting in the US

Greenbacks, Teal, Widgeons, Gadwalls and Blackducks in large numbers...not so much diving ducks
