another flawed question : “49. When corporate interests become too powerful, the state should take action to ensure the public interest is served.”
It assumes that the state stepping in will serve the public interest rather than making those corporate interests even more powerful.
Apparently I’m the only one here who doesn’t think we need our soldiers in every God forsaken hell hole on planet earth, subject to question interpretation, of course.
Another thing. between a couple af questions, I said that America should not intervene anywhere unless to protect our own interests. So it put me down as someone who thinks America ‘should intervene around the world’.

What gives? This test essentially labeled me a slightly more conservative Scott Brown.
8.52 on foreign policy, 8.6 on social issues: Far Right social authoritarian.
Kinda surprises me. I thought I was more authoritarian than that.
Couldn’t post graph from mobile.

14. If our leader meets with our enemies, it makes us appear weak.
15. We must use our military from time to time to protect our supply of oil, to avoid a national crisis.
30. It does not make sense to understand the motivations of terrorists because they are self-evidently evil.
33. It is wrong to question a leader in wartime.
36. Toppling enemy regimes to spread democracy will make the world a safer place.
44. It is not our place to condemn other cultures as backwards or barbaric.
45. When one group is slaughtering another group somewhere in the world, we have a responsibility to intervene.
Some of these are so laughably vague as to be almost impossible to answer. For example, private citizens should question their leaders all the times. However, the Speaker of the House shouldn't go to a country that sponsors terrorism and bash the President's foreign policy (Nancy in Syria).
I started to take the “test” and found the questions to be written in a way that grossly distorts the issues in question. It’s far too simplistic to be of any value.
I’m a far-right moderate social libertarian.
Far right moderate social libertarian here.
