I saw Shep doing that too. Like most of the media, he’s not going to let the truth get in the way of his agenda. I’m also seeing the Tea Party being blamed by others. Sickening.

Insanity has no political persuasion. This kid’s video, which I watched, was schizophrenic and psychotic.
To brand him a lefty makes us as bad as those who would brand him a righty.

My guess that is either rat disinformation or a different Jared Laughner.
They better be using the CYA language, or they should be looking at a libel suit.
When the facts finally come out these people will be eating their words big-time.
But no little 9-year-old girl should have to die so the liberal media can have their false talking-points. We need to do all the political stuff and hold the media accountable, but all that matters to that little girl’s parents right now is that a precious life is gone. I have an 11-year-old daughter and can’t even imagine the pain they must be going through. Presumably her parent was with her there at the store so it’s gonna be a very, very tough nightmare for that family to live through.
Dear Lord, please hold that family in Your tender arms and give them the strength and peace they need to carry on. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
I’m too lazy to get all scholarly. I believe if he had gotten to “The Little Prince”, that would have been first on his list.
I’m looking at this title in the middle of a list of “political” titles and saying hmmm. Reason? Depth psychology.

After watching that youTube vid and the way he talked about sleep I’m thinking it is possible he had a sleep “disorder” and maybe, just maybe lack of sleep turned him psychotic. I have read a bit about this subject after having anxiety related to dealing with insomnia myself for years. If this guy had no sleep for days on end and was already mentally unstable, that could cause his rambling incoherent speech patterns and maybe even the eventual killing spree.

I can’t see video on my computer so I can’t tell what info is from his MySpace page which seems to be legitimate. Do I understand correctly that he was in the military and in college?
Does the military do any mental health screening? Sounds like his friends thought his problems were from alcohol and drugs. From what I’ve read, schizophrenia can mimic drug-like behavior. If he was in academia they probably wouldn’t notice schizophrenic behavior as long as he was using leftist and/or atheistic language, which would act like camouflage in that setting.
If it’s schizophrenia and he moved within leftist politics at least the immediate claims that it was spawned by the Tea Party or Sarah Palin would be absolutely refuted.
I hope they are able to help him get some sanity. I hope Giffords fully recovers. I hope the families of the victims are given much grace and love to get them through this. I hope the political trash-talk and libel is exposed. The whole situation is just incredibly sad.
Did he have an accomplice? Is he a patsy for some organization? Federal Judge John Roll was killed, and he made some rulings in a case brought by a group of illegal immigrants against an Arizona rancher. Some of Roll’s rulings seem to favor the rancher, and some seem to favor the illegals filing the suit. Also, interesting that just recently the Congresswoman called for Congress to take a 5% pay cut, which seems like a good idea but the cut should be more like 50%.
