DHS Memo Suggests Shooter May Be Linked To Racist Organization
Fox News ^ | January 09, 2011 | Jennifer Griffin

According to a memo obtained by Fox News with information compiled by the Department of Homeland Security and released to state law enforcement officials, Jared Loughner, the alleged shooter of Congressman Gabrielle Giffords, may have been influenced by a pro-white racist organization that publishes an anti-immigration newsletter.

No direct connection, but strong suspicion is being direceted at American Renaissance, an organization that Loughner mentioned in some of his internet postings and federal law enforcement officials are investigating Loughner's possible links to the organization. The organization is a monthly publication that promotes a variety of white racial positions.

Further, the suspect's mother works for the Pime County Board of Supervisors.

Oh yeah, great, let’s pull the race factor in. Whose idea was this, Eric Holder’s?

Yeah that was the nugget I took out of this. Sheriff Dumbo really stuck out like a sore thumb in yesterday’s press conference. So I have been trying to gain more knowledge on the local political angle more than anything.

Something is rotten in Denmark.

And so it begins...for Obama’s re-election campaign. He needs race to be the main theme to take the focus off of his failed fundamental transformation of America.

Eric Holder told us that we “are a nation of cowards” when it comes to race. I’m sure Bill Ayres and Pat Hayden have some forged “writings” that have been planted linking them to the shooter to exacerbate race relations.

If they don’t mention her party in the article, she has to be a dem.
If she were a republican that would be headline news this morning.

Rep. Giffords was for strong border enforcement, so it wouldn’t make sense from that angle.

U.S. REP. GABRIELLE GIFFORDS’ STATEMENT [April 2010] ON ARIZONA’S NEW IMMIGRATION LAW AND THE NEED TO SECURE OUR BORDER
http://giffords.house.gov/2010/04/us-rep-gabrielle-giffords-statement-on-arizonas-new-immigration-law-and-the-need-to-secure-our-borde.shtml

Arizona is now known around the world for enacting an extreme immigration law in response to the federal government’s failure to act. This law does nothing to secure our border. My hope is that the events that have unfolded in Phoenix recently are a wake-up call to Washington politicians who for too long have refused to take seriously their responsibility to address the crisis on our border.

The people of Arizona are angry and so am I. Southern Arizona, in particular, has paid a heavy price because of drug smuggling and illegal immigration. But even with the changes enacted by the Legislature Thursday night, this law will do nothing to make the communities I represent safer from smugglers and the dangerous spill-over effects of border violence.

In the face of mounting criticism – including serious questions raised by prominent Republicans such as Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham and Tom Tancredo – the Legislature hastily modified some aspects of the bill that Gov. Jan Brewer signed into law last week. These changes, however, fail to address the concerns of local law enforcement officials about the cost and practicality of enforcing this policy. The changes also do nothing to address the concerns that the law could jeopardize the rights of American citizens. In addition, the potentially devastating impact this law could have on Arizona’s economy just as we are beginning to emerge from the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression is a reality that must be avoided at all costs.

Passage of this law is a stark reminder that securing our border is a responsibility that the federal government must confront with the full extent of its resources.

In the days after the tragic murder of Cochise County rancher Rob Krentz, I called for a series of immediate steps that the federal government must take to secure our border. They are:

• Deploy the National Guard

• Put more Border Patrol agents on the ground

• Establish Border Patrol forward operating bases

• Make greater use of new high-tech surveillance systems

• Improve cell phone reception so law enforcement agencies and rural residents can communicate with each other

I repeatedly have called on President Obama and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to implement these measures. I do so again today.

University of Arizona President Robert Shelton noted on Thursday that because of the state’s new immigration law, the families of a number of out-of-state students have informed the university that they are changing their plans and will be sending their children to universities in other states. Sadly, all them are honors students. I agree with President Shelton when he says these withdrawals should distress anyone who cares about attracting the best and brightest students to Arizona.

The point made by President Shelton highlights what might be the most egregious aspect of Arizona’s new immigration law: its divisiveness. Our state has thrived on its ability to attract new residents, businesses and visitors from around the world. Our cities and towns have long-benefitted from the influx of those seeking new opportunities. This law stands in direct contradiction to our past and, as a result, threatens our future

They are a pretty nasty front group for the National Front. They verge on anarchists.

They advertise a Tea Party affiliation on their website... not good.

This was just discussed on Fox. The American Renaissance Founder (Jared Taylor) was interviewed by James Rosen (via phone). He said, “That is complete nonsense. I have absolutely no idea what DHS is talking about. We have never used the term ‘ZOG’. We have never thought in those terms.” He added, “If this is the level of research we are getting from DHS than heaven help us”. American Renaissance went back 20 years and have no record of Jared Loughner‎ ever subscribing to their publication or attending any events.

There are several of these ‘front groups’ that try to put on legitimate faces to hide or get in the door of normal society to influence them. They have fronts on both the right and the left. (for example, the National Front actually has ties with La Raza- both would like nothing more than to have racially separate sections of the country that ‘do not mix.)

But her husband was an Astronaut, she was on the Armed Services Committee (Jared had been rejected by the military)

and apparently her husband was on the mission that saw the UFO.

I got this from reading the abovetopsecret site so not sure how much is true.

But that is a possible angle on this.

Loughner was very anti NASA.

James Rosen, on Fox News Channel, said he interviewed the head of American Renaissance, Jared Taylor, and he said, "This is complete nonsense. I have no idea what DHS is talking about. We have never used the term ZOG. We have never thought in those terms."

He said that he had never heard of Loughner until yesterday, and they checked their subscriber list, going back 20 years and the attendee roles at its events and they have no record of Jared Loughner ever subscribing to their publications or attending those events.

Update: FOX News spoke with the founder of the American Renaissance Group. The founder said that they had never heard of Loughner and his name is nowhere in their records.

Of course, if Loughner placed a link to their website anywhere on his facebook page, or even placed on his facebook page a link that links to a page that has a link to them, then he's "linked" with them, and because they're associated with "the right," why, they are Sarah Palin herself.

Wow....I went to the abovetopsecret site and ran a search on his user name, Erad3.

It is definitely the same author as the YouTube page of Jared Lee Loughner and, no doubt about it, he is a complete nutjob.

Makes no sense whatsoever.
