The main suspect in the Arizona massacre has links to a fanatical pro-white magazine.
Fox News claimed it had seen a Department of Homeland Security memo which said Jared Lee Loughner, 22, had ties to American Renaissance, which is staunchly anti-immigration, anti-government and anti-Semitic.
Arizona Republican Gabrielle Giffords, the target of the mass killing, is ‘the first Jewish female elected to such a high position in the US government. She was also opposite this group’s ideology when it came to immigration debate,’ according the DHS memo.
Mrs Giffords is the granddaughter of Akiba Hornstein, the son of a Lithuanian rabbi who in the 1940s moved from New York to Tucson. He later changed his name to Giff Giffords in an effort to avoid anti-Semitism.

One thing that hasn’t been scarcely mentioned from what I can tell is that Ms. Giffords is Jewish; if this guy is anti-semitic (along with all his other twisted traits) then that might explain his sick admiration for mein kampf.
I don’t know; just trying to put a puzzle together for a guy that is all over the board whacko and can’t be easily categorized except one thing for certain, he ain’t no conservative, no tea-partier, and is neither a practicing Christian or member of the Jewish community. Sounds like a leftist, godless, socialist (marx or hitler), big government type of creep....you know, your garden variety type we deal with daily at Kos, DU and other blogs, except he went off the deep end.
Tragic for his victims especially. Too bad nobody seems to have thought he should get help; or take himself out and leave the innocent untouched.

We don’t have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was. She’s been the target of violence before. And for those wondering why a Blue Dog Democrat, the kind Republicans might be able to work with, might be a target, the answer is that she’s a Democrat who survived what was otherwise a GOP sweep in Arizona, precisely because the Republicans nominated a Tea Party activist. (Her father says that “the whole Tea Party” was her enemy.) And yes, she was on Sarah Palin’s infamous “crosshairs” list.

The DHS is officially a tool of repression of all oerceived enemies of the most radical Socialist Progressive command structure in the Federal Government.
That they used the Daily Fail a British tabloid, instead of a US media outlet to float this trial balloon smells of a direct gov/socialist media agitation and propaganda campaign.

A law enforcement memo based on information provided by DHS and obtained by Fox News suggested strong suspicion linking Jared Loughner, the man accused in the Tucson shooting on Saturday, to what it called an “anti-ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government) and anti-semitic” group known as American Renaissance.
In an effort to counter those charges, the head of the organization responded directly to Fox News’ James Rosen on Sunday.
Jared Taylor called DHS’ views “scurrilous” and took especial issue with the reference to his group being “anti-ZOG.”
“That is complete nonsense,” he said. “I have absolutely no idea what DHS is talking about. We have never used the term ‘ZOG.’ We have never thought in those terms. If this is the level of research we are getting from DHS, then Heaven help us.”

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and speculate that he has probably never read Mein Kampf--and compiled his list of favorite books by thinking of what would be most shocking to a reader.
Am still unconvinced that his motive in the shooting was political. He may have just wanted to shoot someone famous in order to call attention to himself.

Jared Lee Loughner is a lunatic. The motivation for what he did can only be explained by a deranged mind. It’s time to end the political blame game, and focus again on saving this country from an abusive, tyrannical government.

AND.... I have read here on FR, on several threads that Jared Loughner is a Jew, but I have yet to read it myself in news source.
