Any mindset that believes it can justify inflicting misery on others for the GREATER GOOD will always be more prone to violence than those who cherish individual responsibility and limited government.

In my years of business travel, I;ve spent quite a bit of time in Asia. One thing I learned was that even with out guns, murders and seriel killings take place as they do here. Hammers, knives, saws. If a nut is wanting, they will find a way,

"The most murderous political regimes in history have ALWAYS BEEN LEFT WING."

I offer in evidence some of the most cherished icons of the left:

A Cuban prosecutor of the time who quickly defected in horror and disgust named Jose Vilasuso estimates that Che signed 400 death warrants the first few months of his command in La Cabana. A Basque priest named Iaki de Aspiazu, who was often on hand to perform confessions and last rites, says Che personally ordered 700 executions by firing squad during the period. Cuban journalist Luis Ortega, who knew Che as early as 1954, writes in his book Yo Soy El Che! that Guevara sent 1,897 men to the firing squad.

Che Guevara is an icon, but those who idolize him idolize a lie. Che was not a “freedom fighter.” He was a killer who enjoyed killing. He was, after all, Fidel Castro’s executioner.

On May 1, 1961, Castro declared Cuba a socialist state and officially abolished multiparty elections. Critics noted that Castro feared elections would eject him from power. On the same day Castro announced to the hundreds of thousands in his audience that:
"The revolution has no time for elections. There is no more democratic government in Latin America than the revolutionary government."

The Human Rights Watch organization has suggested that Castro constructed a "repressive machinery" which "continues to deprive Cubans of their basic rights".

Castro's 49-year regime remains one of the most controversial in the history of Latin America. Scholar R J Rummel estimates the casualties of his regime to 73,000, with one study estimating over 119,000 and several others suggesting significantly lower figures.

I'm sure I'm the only one who thinks this, but, I find it odd the progressives are never qualmish when voting to put a gun to the heads of their fellow Americans. When they push something, like Obama’s health care, down our throats, after we clearly tell them we do not want it, what do they think will happen to those who refuse to go along? Do they not realize men with guns will come for those who won't comply? I guess they tell themselves the person should have obeyed the law. Are they all as stupid as Anthony Weiner and, like he told Bill O’Reilly, think there we be no consequences if people refuse Obamacare?

The Nutcase could have driven a car straight into the area and taken out many more people than he did.

He could have walked up with a Propane Tank rigged with a fuse and killed dozens.

He could have used a sword, as a nut did here in a CA Grocery Store killing and wounding half a dozen people.

Human ingenuity being what it is creates scenarios like 9/11, where 19 Jihadists killed 3,000 people and cost the economy Two Trillion Dollars in one fell swoop.

Those guys had a better kill ratio than the nut in AZ, but the Obama Administration is worried about offending Muslims by calling them Jihadist Terrorists.

The violent groups through the 60's and 70's were mostly left leaning anti war groups...the Left has always been in love with violence, lusting after it, romanticizing it - perhaps the quintessential statement of this is Mao's famous "Power comes from the barrel of a gun" - and of course Mao was one of the "favorite political philosophers" of Anita Dunn - who was a close adviser to President Obama......

So, did McVey take orders from Rush as Slick Willy claimed? What about those Islamic ties in the Philippines that the media ignore? McVey seemed more of a loner to me.

It wasn't conservatives blowing up buildings and shooting cops in the 60's and 70's

"Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in pig Tate's belly. Wild!" ”

“Offing those rich pigs with their own forks and knives, and then eating a meal in the same room, far out!"

"The Weathermen dig Charles Manson!"

Most of my left-wing aquaintances have NO IDEA that Jason Lee, an Al Gore worshipper, took hostages at the Discovery Channel last summer, because DC wasn’t doing enough to stop the hell of Global Warming. He died by a police sniper’s bullet.

Those same folks have NO IDEA that Pat Bedell shot two Pentagon guards on a Sunday morning last year, because Obama wasn’t doing enough to stop the wars. He died in a hail of bullets.

It’s not that these people are stupid, it’s that the Big Media BURIES these stories after grudgingly reporting them for a single cycle. then, it’s like they never existed.

But they STILL run stories about the Kansas Abortion doctor that was killed three years ago, painting as a hero, and a victim of right-wing violence.

He who controls the media, controls the meme, and it’s being proven now, yet again.

I love the idiot college students who wear Che Guevara t-shirts. They probably don’t even know who he was and think he was a rock singer or something.

Pathetically, Time Magazine did not mention the DC hostage thing at all. But to them, Al Gore is a sacred cow. They also completely ignored MasseuseGate.

"Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in pig Tate's belly. Wild!"

In typical left wing idiocy and irony, Bill Ayer's wife didn't even realize that Manson was targeting record producer Terry Melcher that had recently moved from the house and those who were killed were entirely innocent victims of circumstance.

I read McVeigh's anti war screed. He could have been a speechwriter for ANSWER.

Yeah, he was definitely no conventional rightwinger. There are DU and KOSsac posts out there where they've read McVeigh's writings and basically said, hey, wait a second, this guy makes some sense. He was sending letters to uber lefty Gore Vidal prior to his execution, asking for Vidal's assistance getting his message out to the public. That's an odd choice of spokesman for a supposed rightist.

It's funny how extreme rightwingers really don't hold the same beliefs as mainstream conservatives. That's different from the left, whose fringe is truly an ultra-concentrated version of themselves. In fact, I would say the left's radicals don't so much constitute a radical fringe (excluded outsiders who are reviled by the mainstream movement) as a radical core (seen as an ultra pure vanguard whose only fault is being a little too much of a good thing).

I wish the congress had the guts to investigate things in the past. Such as open the Oklahoma City files nd have Jayna Davis tetify. Open the flight 800 files. There were more to these two Clinton events.. I truly believe he covered up both so there would be no problems in his administration.

Just go downtown and watch what happens when any meeting of G20, IMF, etc., etc... takes place. See who shows up and what they do.

McVeigh was rejected by the militia movement because he was too much of a nut. He was also an atheist. Not likely right-wing, just angered by Waco. I’m NOT making excuses for him, he just didn’t “fit” with the right-wing meme.
