What's Missing
Red State ^ | January 11, 2011 | Erick Erickson

I am tired of talking about the Arizona shooting. The left has done its best to try to pin it on the right. We know now that not only was Loughner of the left before he went nuts, but that, in fact, Loughner was nuts.

His actions can be pinned on neither the left nor the right.

All of the media handwringing over the “tone” in the country and the “extremist rhetoric” distracts from and implies that the tone and rhetoric had something to do with Jared Loughner’s rampage.

It did not.

“Whether you believe it or not, here is the reality: beyond us is a world we cannot see with our eyes — a world of very real angels and very real demons, of a very real God and a very real devil."

Through it all though, well meaning people on both sides of the ideological and partisan divide are not talking about the one thing that should be talked about — a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Amen!

Why write this, if you’re tired of talking about it?

We know now that not only was Loughner of the left before he went nuts, but that, in fact, Loughner was nuts.

But he repeats himself.

The braindead $lick Willie is now comparing Loughner to the OKC bombing. No mention from $lick about the Fort Hood murders. I guess $lick missed that one. Hypocrite.

Why write this, if you’re tired of talking about it?

Because sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do.

The real cause of the Arizona murders is the culture that has been created in America due to the 60s counter-culture and sexual revolution movements that still persist today.

People are taught in this culture to deny virtue and God and to be free-spirits. They then go on to form perverted identities.

Our culture has no limits anymore in regards to denying virtue and perverting morality. In our media the violence is extreme, the sexual perversion is extreme, the attacks on morality are also extreme. And all of this is being progressively targeted at younger and younger children all of the time.

Many murderous killers such as this kid have even been telling us that themselves. This kid talked about how society was using ‘mind control’. Manson wore it on his sleeve even and preached that our own children were going to turn against us.

I am not trying to claim that this kid was a victim because we still always make our own choices but it is the left-wing which is guilty by nature of the culture wars for this. They are promoting this type of perversion of morality thus creating a identity crisis for youth all of the time. Thus we have people such as this kid who form perverted or distorted identities.

This kid was left-wing as we know from those who knew him. And I absolutely do blame the left-wing for this based upon the culture they continually promote.

I understand that when there is a second party telling us to do something we don’t want to do...but why tell yourself to do something you don’t want to do? Why even say that? Just do it.

“Never let a good crisis go to waste.”

Isn’t this what they believe? With enough hysteria and flinging blame around, what a golden opportunity to further erode the freedoms of the American people! After all, they don’t know how to live, spend their money, or think in the right way.

Despicable, despicable people.

What is missing is unbiased truth, instead we have full out propaganda..

Unless America turns from the evil we are doing as a nation,IE godlessness, abortion, homosexuality agenda, failure of families, failure of marriages, etc. ... anything and everything that enters the mind of man, we will be in difficult if not impossible times.

One liberal and some supporters are shot by a deranged man and the call goes out that its from" hate speech" and from " calls to kill those who disagree with you.".

When 8 soldiers are killed by muslim fanatics on jihad against unbelievers not a peep is heard.

The real culprit appears to work in the Sheriff Department. This is not lack of knowledge of the law it is dereliction of duty or malfeasance .
Where is the Arizona Attorney General on this? The Sheriff office knew this man had mental problems and that he made threats. There needs to be an investigation.

The real cause is sin. Which ever political side one ends up on, some of us realize there isn’t really much difference in those we have elected now to congress. They have all been there for so long and are all buddies. Perhaps the new faces will help some, but unless America turns to the One True God, it looks like we are in for some tough times.

The only thing I will say is, “There, but for the grace of God, go I.” I believe very strongly in that “grace”. It is all that separates us from madness. It heals all, affirms all life and lifts all up above the fray. Without it, mankind stares into a black hole of destruction. I owe each day and all that it contains to my Love, my Lord, my God. I trust in Him completely. Jared appears to have been somewhere else on the spectrum.

Probably because he's using it as a literary form to address his audience.

I'm with you.
I'm worried about what Obarry is doing with his left hand while his right hand is waving around Arizona and all the conservative talk is on self-defense.
