Conservatives need to stop affirming this kind of garbage by giving it attention. Go on the offensive. Boehner needs to get back to work (Gabby would want it that way) and follow through on his promises to the electorate.

There’s a way to mourn and remember. Seldom does it involve an arena and free t-shirts.

They’re lashing out like a bunch of high school cheer-leaders, after a new girl from out of town is added to the team.
Geez, you’d think you were watching an episode of the “Bachelor” or something.

I’m not so sure that Boehner could be admitted considering that hand picked croud.

Boehner probably recognized the freak show it was and smartly decided not to be a part of it.
F the Democrats!

I am glad, for him and the GOP, that he refrained from lending his presence to an obvious political event held under the cover of a “memorial service”.
The venue itself - a branch of academia - was selected BECAUSE OF its guaranteed favorable audience response to the politics and political-image of events as Obama would present them.

Hell, as speaker, he could have taken a delegation to Arizona on military air.
Can't think of a better example of the continuing complete sense of entitlement that the Dems exhibited when they were running the House (iow, "PelosiAir").
That Boehner DIDN'T demand military transport speaks volumes to the positive change in attitudes in the GOP leadership.

And the ‘Rats would bitch that he was there... so they’re bitching that he wasn’t. They can all go to hell.

Come on, Boehner, let them know that when there’s a real memorial you will attend but to take part in that pep rally would have been obscene.

It turned out to be a pep rally; he probably attended a service that was truly a dignified memorial service.
