It's time again to measure the free republic preference for the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee.
Please only vote for one of the candidates listed. Votes for candidates not on the list will not be included in the final tally of votes. Each candidate qualified for this list based on their own statements or political activities that indicate they will likely run.

A Texan candidate will begin the race with 38 electoral votes from his own states, all of the south, all of the southwest, most of the mountain states, and a huge shot at the rust belt.
Perry is a pro-life, pro-freedom, pro-America patriot.
He has national, international, and extensive leadership experience.
For a governor to run for president is not that unusual....especially in his 3rd term. I think everyone would sort of expect it, and I think Texans would be proud.

I’ll wait and see how they measure up on the campaign trail and in debates. I’ll probably vote for the one who I think has the best chance of defeating Obama. Whoever gets the nomination, I’ll crawl across broken glass to vote for them.
