Domodedovo airport: Blast rocks Moscow's main airport breaking news

Moscow's Domodedovo airport - the busiest in the Russian capital - has been rocked by an explosion.

Interfax news agency reports at least 10 people have died and 20 more are injured.

MOSCOW – An explosion ripped through the international arrivals hall at Moscow's busiest airport on Monday, killing 31 people and wounding about 130, Health Ministry officials said. The state RIA Novosti news agency, citing sources in law enforcement, said the explosion at Domodedovo Airport may have been caused by a suicide bomber....Could this be blamed on Sarah or the Tea Pary?

Greg Palkot just mentione the updated casualies. he also said the blast may have had the equivalent force of 10,000 lbs of TNT.

That size of a bomb would have taken out the airport and left one hell of a crater. The OKC bomb was estimated to be the equivalent of 5,000 lbs of TNT.

Most, if not all, ground employees at US airports do not go through security. It will be interesting to see if a DME employee is responsible.

Boy, you’re not kidding. All you need to know about how the Russians deal with terrorists, you can learn by reading about the Moscow theatre siege several years back. They pumped that gas into the theatre knowing full well that it could kill the hostages as well as the terrorists, and then withheld information on the composition of the gas from medical personnel, leading to dozens of civilian deaths.

Pootie and the Russians do not play around when it comes to Chechens or Muslim terrorism. Not at all.

You don’t have to go through security to get to the baggage claim areas at the airports I’ve been to. A suicide bomber could access this area with no problem.
