Our new National Poll shows that Mitt Romney could beat Barack Obama in 2012. In our national poll conducted this week, we asked voters where they stand with Obama and the 2012 Presidential election. First, our poll showed Obama with a 46% approval rating and 54% disapprove. Which is a -4% spread from Real Clear Politics approval average. Overall though, Obama still beats all GOP candidates in a general election.

I doubt that NJ and Pa will go red. I think MO, AR and IA and CO as well as NV and MI could go red. the map is crap IMO

Don’t forget the two senator electoral votes in each state. The EC isn’t just congressional representation.

I’m in MO, and to say it is solid Democrat is erroneous ... it’s been Republican for the last 3 cycles...that aside, there is no real dispute at this point that the top polling candidates for the Republican nomination are Romney, Palin, Huckabee, and Gingrich...no one should be surprised...magritte

Exactly. They are trying to choose our candidates for us.

We are going with Palin if she runs and expect a landslide victory in the only poll that matters in nov 2012.

Romney? LOLOLOLOLOL!

This is a turdish poll. 36% of respondents were age 18-29 which way overstates that demo while only 21% were ages 31-40. Utter non sense.

Some say poh-tay-toe and some say poh-tah-toe. Some say Politico and some say Politicons. Let’s call the whole thing off.

I see plenty of Republicans attacking Romney. McCain was a really bad choice. Palin is great for rallying the voters and mixing it up with the liberals. Had cooler heads prevailed in 2008, we may not have Obama and his czars in charge. I am withholding my GOP donation until I see which who will run against Obama. I wasted too much on McCain.

Forget it. There is NO way a Mormon is going to be elected President! Will NOT, can NOT happen! Not to mention he’s a socialist RINO POS! The LameBrain media want to see this ass nominated so Barry can cruise to victory again! No way. We need to take this guy out, and early! Go Sarah, Go Michele!

Would you vote for Obama, against Romney?

Neither would those polled!!!

I would support Romney and those that sit out, you have what the result would be....but worse.

Romney/Rubio
Romney/Ryan

Gingrich a good solid man, but he is old establishment...will never win....might win a debate, but wont win the vote.

A lot of contradictions in this post:

“Our new National Poll shows that Mitt Romney could beat Barack Obama in 2012... Overall though, Obama still beats all GOP candidates in a general election... Mitt Romney who has been seen as the clear GOP frontrunner actually beat Obama by 1% that is.”

Then there is this contradiction:

“We found that Republicans favor Sarah Palin the most... Mitt Romney who has been seen as the clear GOP frontrunner actually beat Obama by 1% that is.”
