Gandolf said “You shall not pass!”
When will we stand up to the democrat/socialist , to the Muslim and say “You shall not pass!” ?

Thanks - I turned on the news after seeing this thread and searched the 'net as well. That headline is misleading.
For obvious reasons, those of us in the Middle East are watching these events very closely.
Thanks again for the clarification.

Not stepping down..rather will not be running for re-election in Oct. Doubt that will satisfy the protesters.

Obama’s approval rating in Israel is 2 percent..2 percent! That says A LOT..Israelis know from the moment Obama became President that they lost the US as an ally..Israel can take care of themselves..their military if strong, if these arab bastards go after them they can take them out in a matter of days..the only issue is now they are stronger with nuclear weapons, so that is a concern..but as far as the US goes, yeah Netanyahu is right, Obama is WORSE than Carter, damn, never thought I would utter those words, always thought Carter was worse, Obama has beaten him in that category

I admit it, I've been pulling for the dictator. It's not that I like dictators...if I was an Egyptian, I would probably be in the streets too, but as between Mubarak and the bloodthirsty, Jew-hating, warmongering, jihadists that are almost sure to follow, I'll take the former. I suppose there's a chance a liberal democracy could spring forth, and that of course would be best outcome, but how realistic is that outcome in the middle east? The ruthless and organized Islamic factions will grind the liberal idealists into powder.

Yes, when Islam controls the world’s oil then we’ll be finished.
Obama and democrats have crippled U.S. oil production. U.S. has more oil than the Middle East in oil shale alone , then massive reserves of coal, natural gas etc. But democrats won’t let us use it.
Islam is absolute evil and must be destroyed. You think they won’t stop oil shipments?

Allegra, You’re welcome. I’m sure this past week has been especially worrisome for you.
We have a long and ongoing thread you may want to follow: We’ve been going strong since Friday. (my house is starting to become a disaster as well; ) We’ll be praying for you and keep us posted on how you are doing.

The only thing that
*might* not make this another Iran is that there isn't a spiritual leader hiding in exile somewhere in France.
OTOH, Egypt already has the Muslem Brotherhood.

Ok, thanks. I did see a headline on Reuters that he is not running for reelection in September.
Really who really knows what the hell is going on, certainly not this admin in DC.

You think they wont stop oil shipments?
I think that without Western technicians and replacement parts, the Islamists will not be able to maintain the equipment and oil production will dwindle sharply.

Now they have the power vacuum...and anarchy to follow. And what follows that is most likely even less desirable than anarchy. Not necessarily. We are the United States of America.
With strong leadership from the White House we can influence events so that .......

“Islam like socialism is against freedom”
Read this morning that the NDP party (national democratic party) Mubarek’s party got removed from the world socialist organisation, so we see that socialism and dictatorship is not that far removed
