Are Obama, Reid, and McConnell about to Kill the Tea Party?

OK folks, this is my prediction: Harry will act like he cannot stop the repeal vote in the Senate and the Senate will approve the repeal. Then Obama will complain, but will eventually sign the repeal. No veto.

What makes me say this? Because the fix is in!

And guys like Mitch McConnell are part of it. The media is part of it...

This action will keep Obamacare from going to the Supreme Court and potentially embarrassing Obama and Democrats. It will take the spotlight off the exemptions and the added taxes. It allows Obama to claim that things have changed from 2008 and that he is just doing the will of the people by signing the repeal. His signature on the repeal will make him appear as a centrist. And most of all … it deals a major blow to the Tea Parties.

Without Obamacare, the Tea Parties will lack a central issue to demonize Obama and Democrats in 2012. Then if Obama actually cuts government spending and deficits, the wind will be taken totally out of the Tea Parties’ sails.

The old line guys like McConnell don’t want the Tea Parties. They can’t control them (remember that McConnell wanted to continue earmarks until the Tea Parties pressured him). So of course McConnell is cooperating with Reid and Obama to use methods for repeal that make it look like Reid cannot not stop it...

Republicans and Democrats all get things that they want … and most of all; they all get rid of the Tea Parties. Without this going to the Supreme Court, Americans are the ones who lose. How will we the people find out the limitations of Congress?

What a bunch of con men!

did you read the whole article? it makes so much sense.

this is also from the article:

“Already the media is showing clips of Obama from 2008 where Obama claims that he did not want mandatory insurance. Obama will now claim that he never wanted mandatory insurance, but that was the only way to get the legislation passed.”

the media is already setting a stage where Obama can sign a repeal and look like he is in the middle.

All the more reason to give Mitch and Lamar the Tea Perty treatment. And there’s nearly 2 years to find a suitable replacement for them.

The author is delusional-- there I said it.

If Obama really gives us what we want-- are we supposed to say "No?"

I would call it a victory.

Too late, we already know what he is.

I expect to see Obama’s long form birth certificate before I see him signing a repeal of his signature issue.

LOL sounds to me like someone is trying to convince us to support socialized medicine for the sake of opposing Obama.

We’d have to be dumber than millions of boxes of rocks to do that.

What's the blow? Did not the Tea Parties want it repealed? Getting our wish and making the dems and Bowrama capitulate to the Tea Parties! IMHO!

Of course, the article could be smoke and mirrors....

no. socialized medicine is a bad thing, Martha.

but we do need to set expectations that if Dems allow a repeal to happen, then Obama is in a box if he signs it and if he does not.

Obama is going to have to work really hard so that the Tea Party has no issues in two years:

1. Fire all appointees that ever worked for Goldman-Sachs, JP Morgan, or any other outfit that unfairly benefitted from TARP and government bailouts.

2. Eliminate all farm subsidies, especially the sugar tariffs and the biofuel subsidies.

3. Eliminate all government support for green energy except the typical amount of money that goes to scientific research projects.

4. Opening up of offshore drilling areas, and wilderness areas to drilling as well.

5. Elimination of the Dept. of Education and similar departments who's activities should be performed solely at the state or local level.

6. Elimination of Medicare Part D.

7. Elimination of 'No Child Left Behind'.

8. Privatization or Elimination of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac

9. Opening up the records at the Fed

10. Eliminating the new IRS 1099 reporting rules

11. Launching new nuclear power plant building initiative

etc.

You are SO absolutely right about the Tea Party. Had Obama lost and McCain and a Dem/Rino congress kept up Bush spending levels and favor to the “too big to fail” failing business models, the tea party would have still formed. It started prior to any Obamacare drafts as a result of the government bailouts, stimulus, looking the other way at the cause Freddie/Fannie/Lib/Rino policy, and out of control governement spending. It gained momentum in opposition to Obamacare, but Obamacare was not the catalyst that started it.

Within a few hours us TEA party folks will have the probable cause for demanding the impeachment/removal of Obama. If he doesn’t want to represent US interests he doensn’t need to be there.

Death of Obamacare won’t end it either, but may very well propel it into a greater force that both parties will have to reckon with.

Without Obamacare, the Tea Parties will lack a central issue to demonize Obama and Democrats in 2012.

Have you looked at the deficit lately? The actions of the FCC? The actions of the EPA? NEA? How about the multiple czars. Obama's missing history. Illegal immigrants. The anti-business attitude of the left.

I think that there will be NO lack of issues with which to illustate the actions of the left these last two years.

Are you pulling my leg? There are tons of issues for the Tea Parties to use against Obama.

We just aren’t smart enough to get it. The “humblest” he can get would be that he didn’t do enough to explain it to us simpletons.

I like to think his stress level has to be going up. He has all these new players around him going WTF did we get into?

Keep the pressure up on every front!
