Imagine that....
FYI
How come it’s only the women who aren’t ready to be president?
Neither is Barry but Ronnie doesn’t seem to have a problem with that. Barry is even flunking his OJT.
At least the woman knows her ass from a hole in the ground, something I couldn’t say for 99% of the politicians in the D. C. these days.
WAS OBOZO SOETERO “READY”? GIVE ME A BREAK.
who served a brief stint as U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmanns chief of staff-
Guess we can see why it was a brief stint.
I think we have to listen to folks who’ve actually worked with and know the candidates. We can weight their comments and opinions. Some may be aligned with another candidate, or bitter after a feud, others on target.
Some things I like about Bachmann and am perfectly happy to have her in the mix and to learn more. But what does qualify her, or any other candidate, to be POTUS, other than any of them would be better than the totally unqualified guy who’s in office now?
I'm undecided on Bachmann, but that's not exactly an unbiased source.
If I had to bet money, I think Bachmann's decision on running will be determined by how Minnesota redistricting happens. Bachmann's district was democrat before 2000.
Wow, she’s not ready. But a coke snorting, dope smoking marxist drop out lawyer who organized communities (and not very well reportedly) was ready in 2008. Obviously the bar is set much lower for libs...
I like Palin and I agree with about Bachmann 90% of the time, maybe more. I have heard her on Mark Levin and even though I think she has the mental acumen to be President, I don’t think she is particularly ready. To me she comes across as being - for lack of a better word - “whinny”.
If Michelle were to be one of the Socialist/Leftist types? She could be a community organizing/law con-man and constitutional liar. If so her qualifications would not be questioned.
If obama was ready to be president...EVERYONE is ready to be president.
How brief and did they part on good terms?
I was going to post that was a little young IMO but then I saw she’s 54 years old. Wow. She’s very well preserved. I thought she was in her early 40s.
Not everybody, despite their political beliefs is ‘ready’ or more importantly, ‘electable’ to the Presidency.
Michelle Bachmann is one of these at present. There are people that need to ‘lead’ the movement...but not everyone of them needs to be, or can be, President.
Do I like Bachmann? Yes. Do I like her political stance? Yup. Is she electable for POTUS? Ummm...no. Not now. That doesn’t mean she isn’t useful or an unimportant part of the movement, but she isn’t there yet. It’s not a put down, it’s reality. And, it has nothing to do with the fact she’s a woman.
Before the last POTUS election, how many considered Palin a POTUS candidate? Really?
If we want to advance conservatism, we need to nominate and elect someone...not take fliers. Stop assuming someone is Reagan just because they’re a firebrand Conservative. Find a conservative that has national prominence, and let others, like Bachmann and Palin have their moment when they’ve shown that they are relevant NATIONALLY.
And stop comparing ‘our’ candidates ‘experience’ to what Obama had...because we aren’t going to get the support of the media like he did. Fact of the game, our candidate needs to better...just the way it is.
On Ward with RINO Kill, the necessary Operation Success required to restore Our Precious Republic! IMHO
Face it all Dims are ready to be president. No GOP or conservative is ready to be president particularly if they are female or a minority.
Wondered who was really behind this dope.
These dweebs who fancy themselves as the powers-behind-the-curtains really infest the Republican Party, don’t they?
“my opinion from my association with her is she’s not going to be an electable candidate for us”
A highly suspect claim. We’re supposed to think there’s something he knows about her personally that the public doesn’t know. But “electability” is always based on public perception, not unknown personal matters.
What Carey is really saying is “I don’t want her to be electable.”
Claims of “unelectability,” especially this early, without exception, are motivated by political opposition.
