Palin didn’t attend CPAC. GOProud was an invited participant. DeMint did not attend as a result. Santorum and Bachmann attended in spite of GOProud participation. Seems pretty hypocritical to me. As a result, I no longer consider Santorum or Bachmann true social conservatives. They were obviously more interested in promoting themselves than taking a stand.

Palin had a booth there and made it VERY clear that the only reason she didn’t attend were scheduling conflicts. Thanks for the information on Bachman and Santorum....they need to be roasted over this as well.
It is as if the entire line of potential GOP candidtes have punted on this issue. Well, it matters to me as both a citizen and a person that will have to endure “sensitivity” nonsense through the military.
I have no problem with being told, “don’t descriminate.” I would have done that whether told to or not. However, if someone wants me to say being homosexual is OK.....which I fear is coming. Then that is a different matter. I would be just as upset if I had to attend “orientation” that attempted to teach me that “extra-marital sex” is OK.
In reference to Bachman.....why hasn’t she put forward ammendments to the budget that defund the military’s proposed homosexual indoctrination training? Or, why hasn’t she or others made it clear they WILL NOT ammend the UCMJ to remove homosexual conduct prohibitions....Congress must do this for the full repeal of DADT to take place.
